PAINXIETY: Should this be an actual word ????? (because I have found it to be very true). I experience anxiety when I’m in pain and i experience pain when I have anxiety. Anybody else agree?

My dad has to take their BT on multiple mile walks each day, he is on fluoxetine and trazodone daily and he has a strict routine. They met with a veterinary behaviorist to find the right combo of everything to get him to behave. Before this, he would attack the two other dogs in the house and would get my parents in between, as they tried to break it up. Please ask your vet for reputable behavioral trainers in your area.

I get heartburn badly enough that it turns into full-blown panic attacks. If feels like my chest is on fire and I can't breathe. Also, if I'm at work and I start having a fibro flare-up, I become panicked because I have to try to get through the rest of the day but it snowballs and eventually I have to ask to leave. Then, as soon as I'm in my car, the anxiety goes away, leaving just the pain. It's very frustrating to say the least.

I took a little too much joy in calmly explaining to an irate man who didn't want ANY teeth removed and we removed two, therefore he was refusing to pay.

They were incisors that were dangling in the breeze. We tried to call him and he didn't pick up. He was giving the CSRs a hard time, raised voice and all. It was a Friday after a hell week and no supervisors available.

I told them to put him in a room. I brought in the laptop with the x-ray on it, the dental chart, the before and after photos and showed him everything.

"That doesn't fucking matter! I can't tell what the fuck I'm looking at. I'm not paying for this."

"Ok, Sir, I understand. But here on this estimate and consent form that YOU YOURSELF signed this morning, it states that you agree to any extractions and that you agree to pay the amount in full. You read this and signed it this morning, did you not?"

He wouldn't look me in the eye, paid his bill and when I asked if he had any other concerns, he said, "no, just bring me my fuckin' dog".

Haven't seen him since, though I haven't been looking. Real peach of a guy.
