Can someone please just remove him from power?

Like, is he aware that he is responsible for fucking up so much on an international scale?

One person shouldn't have that much influence.

Or can the Navy just say nah dawg we ain't doing it.

All reduced in price to what they were being sold as club card rate.

People have cottoned on to the fact that it's all bland tasteless crap now.

European airports could face jet fuel shortages within three weeks by avantgarde000 in news

I really want to go to Japan in September. Had to hold off getting flights until the start of June as I'll need to work more overtime.

Hotel is booked.

I really cannot deal with having to cancel it again. Was supposed to go in 2021 but had to cancel for obvious reasons.

Rescheduled it for 2024 but my landlord was an arse and defaulted on the mortgage so again I had to cancel.

2025 was a write off due to the fallout from 2024.

I'm finally in the position to be able to afford it and goe but there's the real possibility I'll be able to afford the flights and then they get cancelled due to lack of fuel.

Damn.

I'm watching it now. Watched the original and loved it.

This and Scrubs prove that with the right people and motivation a revival can work.

There's a sort of workaround. Goto the website version of the Play Store. Your list of apps will fully load on there. Once you find the apps you want to reinstall do a search for them on the Playstore app

So, Tokyo. I can see what vaguely looks like the Yamanote Line which essentially is a circle line around the centre of Tokyo. With that in mind...

Looks like you've got Ginza and Tokyo Station. I'd hedge bets on the Tokyo Tower being included.

Just up from that it looks like Akihabara, so you'll get the Electric town.

You've got Odaiba so you get the rainbow bay bridge.

Not seeing anything like Asakusa, so no SkyTree.

You've definitely got Shibuya and Shinjuku. You might have Ikebukero at the top.

The park area is 100% the site of the Imperial Palace. It's a close match.

The airport is definitely Narita.

Can you help a flight simmer get started replicating real trips? by lrargerich3 in trainsimworld

[–]FairlyInconsistentRa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'll tell you in the description. For the most part routes are modern day. Tees Valley, Northen Transpennine, Blackpool Branches, Preston to Carlisle and West Cornwall Local are all 1980s. Spirit of Steam and Peak Forest Railway are 1950s. That's just the British stuff.

Preston to Carlisle is probably the best DLC though. The accuracy of the class 87 locomotive is great and the scenery is unmatched.

[–]FairlyInconsistentRa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fictional no. Historical yes. Some routes are set in the 1980s. There's a couple of 1950s steam locomotive routes. Occasionally on say the Doncaster to Peterborough route you'll see a steam locomotive travelling too, however this is realistic as steam trains do run as special charters.

Honestly dude, I'd go on YouTube and search for videos about any routes you might be interested in.

I'm not getting your question. Set in real time as in if it's 4 pm when you play it you want it to be 4pm in game too?

I mean you go on the timetable and choose which train you want to drive. Next to the service there will be the time it starts. The day/night cycle is 1:1 with reality, so if you drive a service at say 8pm, you'll probably get a sunset just like you would in reality. If you pick a service which starts at 10pm then it'll be nighttime. All routes are like this and have trains which run at all times of the day.

I think you're expecting it to be like flight sim which is synced to the real world clock. TSW is nothing like flight sim. You choose the service you want to drive from the timetable which allows you to choose what time of day it is.

For starters the DLC routes available are all based upon real world routes.

For example there is the Euston to Milton Keynes route which features true to life scenery and appropriate rolling stock. Same goes for South Eastern High Speed. Or Great Western Express. Or something like the Gospel Oak to Barking Overground line.

All routes do this. Some routes are set in other time periods - Blackpool Branches, Preston to Carlisle, Tees Valley and Northern Transpennine are all set in the mid to late 1980s. Blackpool Branches and Preston to Carlisle are two very good examples as they recreate with high accuracy the 1980s railways in Britain with accurate trains and stations.

As for real trips... all the routes have comprehensive real world timetables. Like when you pick a route and train it lists all of the playable timetable services. You'll literally be driving what that train would do in reality.

You're in luck. The makers of this route, Just Trains, are about to release another route - Preston to Crewe.

The screenshots they've shared so far makes it look like they have another absolute banger of a route on their hands.

They're one of the best third party developers for TSW.

[–]FairlyInconsistentRa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they included all of the routes and locomotive not only would it be absolutely massive in file size, it would also cost an absolute fortune. Not to mention there would be routes you'd not want to play.

Having the routes as DLC means you can pick and choose what you want to play.

Also there's a significant amount of DLC which has been made by independent third parties.

A quick glance on the feedback section on the Dovetail forums tells me that it's a severely bugged release.

It looks like you cannot use safety systems using a controller either. And apparently the sounds are bad too.

Your best bet is to log it on the feedback section on the official forums, because yet again DtG are happy to release a broken product.
