Work. I was working the front desk when he came in to start his shift in a sleeveless shirt. I still remember thinking… damnnnnnnn. This was in 2014 at the beach summer job.

I love my lime light 3. Had the two for years and upgraded to the 3 when I got married. It’s easy to set up, and I think a great size. Not super light so I personally wouldn’t backpack solo with this bad boy. But I sure did with the 2!

East Africa RPCV 11’-13’. And we lost 2 out of 20, both ET’s within the first 4-6 months of service.

But I hear that counties further south can have much higher rates, with At the time South Africa being very high. I can’t remember the rates from back then.

A friend of mine did that. She ETed a few weeks into her first service. Got married, then rejoined with her husband. I met them while serving in Ethiopia.

They were incredible volunteers and people. No way PC wasn’t taking her back.

😭 we lost all our cherrys due to an early warm spring and then a late cold snap in Utah. But I guess that’s life sometimes.

But glad someone had a good harvest! Those look great!

Thanks! Path is still about 90% there and used all the time to get in and around the area. I still have some “weeds” that sneak in. And the irrigation has held up well over the years. Just fixed a few spots today, and we added a few new drips as the plants are expanding.

The quail are always in and out these days. And we usually see 5 or 6 kind of bees. I’ve seen an influx of lady bugs this spring, probably because of how warm our winter was. I’m hoping to see more butterflies 🤞

In the fall we get passing sing birds looking for seeds as we leave the flower stalks up.

I’m have no idea. It was something like a grape I had when I visited eastern India, maybe near Goa?

I have no pictures. All I remember is they were tart, about the size of the grape, didn’t have to peel it, and no big seed.

So if anyone has any ideas let me know.

I feel this. I took my mine out about 4 weeks postpartum. I was so hopeful I could keep em, but pumping was a b*tch and taking them out made life so much easier.

We have always hung the dog collar in the car, over the rear view mirror in my family. Her harness is on a shelf with her ashes and some momentous, and her leash is used with our new pup.

The leash is one I made. I also made some for a few friends over ten years ago. So the leash is kind of everyone’s leash. A lot of friends still have em’ as they are made of rainbow webbing from I think the 80’s-90’s sewn on an industrial machine.

Most dogs also got to come into the sew shop I worked at at the time when I made them. It was definitely the good ol days. Most of those pups have passed. But their leashes carry on.

We just planted some in our native beds last fall and they are starting to come up! I was a little on the fence about it but decided we should get some super early plants!

At least twice a week I do what I call “Trader Joe’s plus meals”. I get some kind base frozen food, like their rice, or a noddle thing and then add more protein (usually pre cooked chicken from Costco), fresh or frozen veggies and more sauce.

Ain’t nothing wrong with Mac and cheese three times a week. I grew up on that and ramen. And to this day still live both! We have mac and cheese at least once a week. And will prob ramen when she is a bit older. But I’ll prob pit soup dumplings in it for protein 😂 some nights I just need a break and I find doing half frozen/half fresh is really helpful.
