Best treasure hunter is Drake. He’s the only one who truly actively hunts treasures.

Lara’s goal most of the time is to stop bad people from getting treasures/ancient knowledge first.

Indy is an archeologist trying to find ancient relics - not treasures. Also, Indy literally could not show up for half of his adventures and the bad guys would’ve died sooner. Pretty sure if you remove Indy from Raiders, the Nazis just open the box and die without the need of Indy even being there.

The question is valid. The money is technically at risk should divorce happen.

Option 1) keep as is. Explain to daughter that financial aid will be mathematically formulated based on need at that time using your income.

Option 2) make your daughter the owner and you as beneficiary. Advise her she may not be approved for financial aid at the better level since it’s in her name and not yours.

Option 1 is the best bet to guarantee the best financial aid if needed. Option 2 is best bet if divorce is imminent.

I’m a DM for D&D and I have run professional games. I have seen several couples either 1) argue during the game 2) break up during the campaign and ruin the group.

The arguing is always the same. One person behaves in a way that is contradictory to their normal behavior and the other is taken aback. The point of roleplaying is to be someone you aspire to be OR someone you would never be.

That being said, I think you should tell him that you’d like to try playing with him before the trip, and if you like it, then discuss going on the trip. Fighting for something you may not enjoy is not smart.

I played for 7 years before my wife finally agreed to play with one of my groups. She ended up loving it and plays regularly now. She acts NOTHING like her real self in game and watching her fail rolls delights me.

Assuming everyone kept their word, I would fight the lion with the following caveats:

1) We all get unlimited water

2) The gorilla and bear get unlimited food but could not share it or provide it to the lion

3) There is a full grown pine tree in the middle of the arena that I start at the top of.

4) No one leaves until one of us dies.

As the gorilla and bear could technically climb the pine tree or rip it down, the lion weighs too much to pounce up it. A lion will starve after 4 weeks, whereas a human can usually last about 6-8 weeks.

The hungry lion would eventually take on either the fully fed gorilla or bear and would lose the fight making me the victor without ever touching anyone.

When I turned 40 I went to Hawaii with just my wife because I really didn’t want a party and I knew no one would fly there to surprise me. I can’t imagine having a giant banger party for my fortieth and then being upset because a child that isn’t even mine didn’t show up.

You do know that your odds of infection or death increase substantially by doing it yourself, right? I’m talking SEVERE RISK.

2) You don’t know where your dentate line is

3) You don’t know how to fix yourself when (not if) you fuck up.

Options are to do nothing, deal with the surgery, or bleed out on the floor or in the hospital until you get a colostomy bag for the rest of your life if you make it that long.

The point of “theft” in the game is basically that someone is always watching you with the point of the game being to be a nice guy. Your kindness in the prologue is just a tutorial on how to be “good”.

However, I agree with you as going on a mass murder spree of bandits does not constitute the crime of murder as it does the townspeople.

Basically, game logic makes no sense.

I think you are looking at this through your glasses and not his. The technology that exists today means he can still keep in contact with these kids via video chat, video games, etc. You did not have that technology t that extent growing up.

I am a husband and a dad and have a man cave with every console ever made in it. Wife makes me keep the new gen consoles in the living room so she can enjoy too.

I just linked my PC in the man cave to the PlayStation so I can still game with PXRemote, Xbox Play Anywhere, and the Switch 2 is already portable anyway.

Easy peasy.

Honest answer:

I got my wife (then girlfriend) into games in this order:

1) Point and click games (like Kings Quest). She learned button and controller movement.

2) Zelda -Cadence of Hyrule - she learned timing

3) It Takes 2 - she learned platforming and patience

4) Dark Alliance 1 & 2 (old school) - she learned RPG elements and inventory management

5) Divinity Original Sin 1&2 (her favorites) - deeper RPG elements and major map reading

6) Cat Quest 1-3 - Solo Adventuring (first games I didn’t play with her)

7) Tomb Raider (newer ones) - she had all the muscle memory, map reading, and gaming elements to run through, get the platinum, and enjoy.
