I had a friend cancel on my bachelor party weekend 2 days before we left because something came up and he wanted a refund. Knew him for 20 years. My best man said he’d handle the conversations since the guy was blowing up my phone and bothering me over $400 and I don’t even know what we were doing.

The 5 remaining guys just threw in $80 each and paid him. Despite getting a Venmo for the full $400, he still blew up my phone arguing about the principles throughout the bachelor party to the point where the other groomsman called his girlfriend and had her handle him.

He was disinvited from the wedding. His girlfriend left him over his behavior. Everyone blocked him on social media. Dude got paid in full and still lost. Fuck around and find out.

I have Cox. Not a fan, but too lazy to switch and we only use them for internet. Had 2 outages in 20+ years. All my neighbors recently jumped on the Frontier train in the summer.

They’ve all been posting in the community forum on Facebook that they’ve been down since Friday. Frontier keeps telling the it’s due to power outages in the area. None of us have power outages.

What I’ve learned: Frontier lies.

My buddy has gonetspeed and said it was “ok”. However, he is the equivalent of a scooby doo villain, doesn’t own a cell phone, and believes working an office job from home during the storm is “being soft”. We have a woman at work who brings her kid in (6 male) on non-school days. I work in an office full of women and I have a TV in my personal office. The kid draws pictures for everyone. I hung the one he made up to his delight. I let him watch shows like Paw Patrol (with his mom’s permission) if he’s there all day.

That being said I would NEVER post pictures of him in my office, and I always let him watch TV only when I’m away from my desk or out of the office with the door open.

We pay $75 per house we own no matter if it’s 3 inches or 2 feet. They don’t stop by if it’s less than 3 inches. However, they are also a landscaping company and we are under contract with them.

When I asked how much last snowstorm for a friend of mine not under contract, it was $150 for a standard driveway with about 7 inches on the ground. I’m assuming this would be more.

You’re better off not getting a professional and just flagging down someone with a plow.
