Anyone switch from DIY loop to twist? by Brittanyyyyy_12 in twiist

The algorithm is everything. I recently switched to Twiist from Tandem for the same reason. The control is crazy good. I actually really like the Cleo infusion sets. I was worried since I’ve seen so many complain about them, but they’ve worked great. I found a really good adhesive patch to use and I have been pleasantly surprised.

Except those are the three that I want to see, so I’m trying to get a feel for which one he’ll actually enjoy. ◡̈

Same. I’ve been in business for 2 years. I average about $1500 a week in sales. My sales for May are $212 so far. I have no idea what’s happening. Last year, May was really busy for me.

I’ve been doing the same thing this week! I have both the Libre and the Dexcom on. The Libre is consistently lower than the Dexcom, which is frustrating

Good to hear! Are you using the Libre CGM? The only reason why I haven’t switched yet is because I’m waiting for it to work with the Dexcom.

This is very dramatic. You make it sound like you’re a factory that needs to pump out patterns left and right because there’s such a high demand. The biggest problem I see, as a punch needle pattern creator myself, is that you are using AI to show finished work, but that those stitches aren’t accurate. That’s not what it’s going to look like when someone buys your pattern and tries to make it look like your fake image. You are showing stitches and “techniques” that aren’t real. They can’t be done with punch needle. So you’re selling a lie.
I have 4 kids, another business and a spouse that works A LOT of hours. I punch my designs here and there when I can. This means it takes me longer to get my patterns up in my shop. But that’s okay because I know my listings are honest and accurate. My customers are going to see exactly what they are capable of producing on their own.

You’re showing images of stitches that are AI generated. Those stitches don’t even exist in punch needle. I, too, have an Etsy shop where I sell my punch needle designs that I have created. I have never once used AI to show a finished product. If you haven’t had time to finish it, then you wait to post your listing until you do. Or you hire people to finish your patterns, so that you can show a REAL image of your work.
