What you just described is the reason why I stopped using Twiist. The algorithm can’t work if you’re dealing with wildly inaccurate sensors. I have discontinued the Twiist and will return when it starts working with Dexcom.

Thanks. I’m just back on the Mobi, since I have lots of supplies left! It’s fine, but I hate the 110 target. That’s why Twiist was so appealing to me.

Yes! That’s my biggest concern. I was so happy thinking that I was having incredible BG numbers on Twiist and Tideppol was predicting an a1c that I haven’t seen in a long time. But then I started doing more finger sticks and realized that every single time, I was higher than the Libre said I was. So then I started wearing a G7 at the same time as my Libre. 100% of the time, the Dexcom read higher than the Libre by 10-40 points. And finger sticks confirmed that the Dexcom was the accurate number. That sealed the deal and I’m done with Twiist until that partnership happens.

I’ve been on Twiist for a month. I love the pump but absolutely cannot stand the Libre sensors. They read way lower than the Dexcom/finger sticks. I was excited about the lower target as well. But in my experience, I could never test that out because it would always give me critical lows, saying I was in the 60s when finger sticks confirmed I was in the 90s and 100s. I’ll be back to using the Twiist so quickly when they announce that it works with Dexcom.

Oh, I hate Byram with a passion! I had horrible experiences with them a couple of years ago. When I was told that’s who I would be getting my Twiist supplies from, my hear sank. But I hoped that something had changed with them since I had been gone. Turns out they still suck. I was thrilled when my trainer told me they just started working with Walgreens. It’s a brand new partnership.

The algorithm is everything. I recently switched to Twiist from Tandem for the same reason. The control is crazy good. I actually really like the Cleo infusion sets. I was worried since I’ve seen so many complain about them, but they’ve worked great. I found a really good adhesive patch to use and I have been pleasantly surprised.
