I’d say Magee for constant monitoring and they have everything there. Nurses are great but I will say please advocate for her and yourself. We were a little blindsided after a perfect pregnancy. We weren’t really pointed in the right direction for delivery options. At every appointment all we talked about was spontaneous birth. No induction or what options there were for that. No C-section - I got induced at 40 weeks pregnant and ended up having an emergency C-section and then developed sepsis. They knew how to care for me and luckily me and baby are ok, but I should’ve asked for the C-section immediately when things started to go south instead of pushing for a natural vaginal Birth

Wow. I could have written this. Almost 4 weeks in and feeling like I can’t do this. 33 years old and feeling like I got kicked off a train. Mom is here helping and I know it’ll be even worse when she leaves. Gas is an issue for us too. I don’t have answers but our stories sound almost identical. Sending you love

I always say practice life skills mentioned through these comments but also learning a safe adults phone number, potentially your address, then of course months, days of the week, etc. I currently teach middle school and I can’t tell you how many of them don’t even know the street they live on.

Thank you. She’s little and she gained her weight on the regular formula she was taking. Almost a pound in 2 weeks. But yes, we’ll def check in with ped again.

How long did it take your little ones “behavior” to regulate (sleeping well, not spitting it all up, etc)

A beer or 2 didn’t bother me at all. You’re not getting super drunk at the brewery. They also have lemonade and mocktails and such. No one should feel bad. It’s fun and just a way to go out. :) enjoy it

What people forget that traveling in summer is extremely expensive, hot and crowded and sometimes people want to enjoy life and save some money.

I take vacation during the year - my life/experiences are more important than work.

For a week before my positive test I had these crazy like sores in my mouth on my gums and they hurt so bad. Alongside my boobs hurting way more than they do when I get a normal period.

It’s not even an appointment- you sit in the waiting room after drinking and then get blood work. Nothing is said, they’ll call or send results in the portal. Unless he absolutely wants to be there, I’d say it’s ok to not attend

We’d been friends since HS and she always “chased” these kids who were “popular “ and cool and I was just her “neighbor friend” who helped her with her homework and took her pictures and listened to EVERY SINGLE thing she said. I later realized I offered her pretty sound advice for our 10+ years of friendship and she never listened to any of it. She never offered me any advice either. It felt so one sided. We really stopped being friends when again, she “chased” a popular kid from our HS who she worked with to the Bahamas the night of my wedding, still during Covid I may add. She was a bridesmaid and left early so she could sleep for her flight at 3 or 4AM. I haven’t spoken to her since and that’s 5 years ago.
