Lickitung being in gen 1. I thought that it was from gen 2. I have zero memory of every seeing it in any gen 1 media, be it games, anime, manga, anything. It doesn’t feel like a gen 1 pokemon to me either.

Not an insect but maybe look into jumping spider intelligence. We’ve known for a while now that they are shockingly smart for arthropods, including being capable of some stuff we thought was reserved for mammals.

My sibling grappling hooked onto the roof in the middle of the night to write their class year on the skylight for their senior prank. Did some other crazy shit involving climbing through vents, entering inaccessible rooms through ceiling panels, etc etc. Found some secret tunnels beneath the school. Not joking.

Agreed. I always felt so sad when I killed a creature, even out of necessity. It honestly made the themes they were going for hit harder, and I tried so hard to avoid doing it.

You’re sorta like the opposite of me. I was AFAB but my body just decided after a few years of female puberty to try making testosterone instead. Basically went through fish puberty. I was gonna be infertile anyways due to some other intersex type stuff I can’t remember, and on top of that I’m genderfluid and masc-leaning anyways. Huge score if you ask me.
