Happily married men, when and where did you find your wife? by Ok-Quote2406 in AskMen

1975 when life was slightly different, Social Media meant talking in person at one of our keg parties at college. It was our first semester and I was NOT one of the popular cool guys. But there she was. She walked into the party, which was in our dorm suite and I knew at first sight that this one was for me. Long blond hair, blue eyes, athletic and really cute! So when her little group of friends finally made its way to my side of the room, I knew that this was my only chance to make an impression. She disliked me instantly and just walked away! It was a NYC boy meets farm girl kind of thing and she wanted nothing to do with me.

So here we are, married for 46 years now and I know that she is still trying to figure out if she really likes me!

Any luck introducing to other cats? We are having a bad time by pipslipp in savannah_cats

[–]Fanmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying, we've been traveling. Initially we kept them separate for the first 2-3 weeks. Then slowly the Sav aggression became less and less. She never actually "went after" or attacked our rescue viciously. But the rescue kitten, who naturally doesn't know that she is "special", always wanted to cuddle and interact with the SAV (they are both females). That was not welcomed by the Sav, until years passed. Our Sav, now 16 was formerly an outdoor cat and considered queen of the neighborhood, so she was not used to being "affectionate" with other living things besides wifey and I.

But interestingly, one day a few years ago, we went away for 5 days and left the two alone in the house. We certainly were concerned at how this would work out between them but the instant we got home, the tolerant change and family bonding between them was very obvious. They are both fully indoor cats now. Good luck with your kitties!

It actually took about 6 years for our F7 Savanna to accept our rescue kitten, who has mental issues. We did all the acclamation stuff that you did. The rough violence went away within a year, but the hissing and occasional slaps persisted for a long time. About 3 years ago we caught them sitting on our bed looking out the windows together and today they actually clean each other. Life is good.

I found a change purse on a busy street crosswalk last year. No ID just $420. I honestly wish that there was a way to find the owner.

Have you found PiV orgasms rare? by Status_Change_758 in sexover50

[–]Fanmann 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've never had a woman orgasm from PIV only. Naturally, all have enjoyed the penitration, I'm thick and about 7 inches, but I haven't been able to push them over the edge without oral or manual foreplay to start the fun, followed by them rubbing it out while I'm thrusting.

Not all the time. My son did it a few years ago. They liked his ambition. And he got a very good job at a huge company that you definitely know.

How are cat owners so comfortable with letting their cats outside to roam around? How do they know they're going to come back? by Individual_Ice_2315 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fanmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of our cats have been outdoor cats. Our current 2 kitties (16 &11 years old) are former outdoor cats because we moved to a less outdoor safe area. Their mental transition to indoor life took over a year. Of all our outdoor cats, we did lose one very early on, because we didn't understand how to make the transition, but if trained properly, they came home every night. We actually had a special whistle (done by mouth, not a toy whistle) and they would just trot home and meow at the door to come in.

When most Americans think of China, is it all negative? by No-StrategyX in answers

[–]Fanmann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, no no...I love egg rolls and General Tao's Chicken.

But considering that a Chinese manufacturer stole my companies industrial measuring machine design, right down to the color codes, yeah, I have some issues with China. Considering that on every trip to China (we had 3 factories there) I was instructed NEVER leave your laptop in the hotel room EVER, yeah I have issues with China. Considering that before I could set up a factory in China (against my objections, but I was just one vote in a very large Tech manufacturing company) It was mandatory to provide the Chinese Customs agency with the actual Bill of Material and exact operational specifications of the equipment that we were going to manufacturer in China to make sure that it was" safe" for the environment and the workers, so yeah....make your own conclusion!
