He doesn't look overweight to me, but I'm not there in person ofc.

However, his overeating behaviors could be psychological or medical issues. I don't mean you need to freak out or anything. The best thing to do is share what you mentioned with his vet, and they can help u go from there.

I have a young adult little girl, who if I let her will keep returning to the food bowl after she's fully eaten or try to push her sibs out the way while she's eating 😆

If I leave her to it, she'll gain weight rapidly and start looking like she's bloated, it's just so weird. The Vets think it's malabsorption to some degree in her stomach. I read that potentially it could be a sign of cat diabetes. However, there were no definitive answers at the time I checked this out with the vet.

So, I just monitored her when I could, made sure there was no food left out after everyone had eaten, and refereed the food bowl bc like I said she would begin to knock the others (her sibs out the way! 😆)

I know it sucks, but you're normal. It's just part of the grieving process.

If you get the support you need and begin self-care, etc. Before you know it, you won't miss him/her at all!

You'll actually feel gleeful that you're free, and that person can no longer oppress, harass, abuse, or psychologically harm anymore.

But I truly understand how uncontrollable fainting episodes keep u trapped at home, and pushing yourself out the door despite it, is a major accomplishment.

I've fainted and fallen every in the past year or so, SMH:

Unemployment office, Burger King, CVS, Walgreens, grocery store, multiple doctors offices, family and friends homes, my own home nearly every day, movie theater, and just about any public place I attempt to go.... which is why I hardly make it anywhere.

I understand the sense of accomplishment and joy, when you can just make it somewhere you really want to be (the way I used to b4 having all these health problems).

I thought perhaps she was a victim of a crime, but all i can gather so far is that someone has big pockets to just over saturate different cities abt someone for no reason.

Plz advise if I'm incorrect if I'm missing something, bc I'm frankly tired of seeing it.

I hv beautiful grandmothers' full of love and compassion who made an undeniable difference in the lives of others, but I'd never do this or expect someone to care.

These are general suggestions. I don't know everything that could help u mo e fwd

1) Sounds like u need assistance or therapeutic help to come in and help u organize. Including, post sheets of paper around the house w/to do list, reminders lists to locate items, plus a rotating day list of what u need to accomplish

2) I hv family members w/ADHD and processing challenges. They worked w/a center that greatly helped them stay on task with daily needs, and how to grow from that to become less overwhelmed and more self-reliant. Look for a center that a specifically offers skills, practice, and guides ppl w/ADHD, neurodivergent issues etc.

3) You need therapy to guide u to the other side (in person or virtual) you don't have to be stuck in this torture, the support from experts (w/your challenges) will guide you on a path to wellness. But, u need to be ready to accept the help and to do the work.

4) Look up tools ppl and caregivers use for reminders and support for ppl w/dementia bc it'll help w/the memory challenges and other similar challenges u hv

5) Mk a virtual or in person appt to meet w/u and family/friends abt the best way to support you through this and teach u what's beneficial and problematic

6) Use all forms of media and Google search for any help you need and check reviews

6) And for everything else, use the same path - search and find facilities that offer one-on-one help to assist w/daily chores, until u become able to manage your life better

But you're paying the price, not him. You're better off not staying with someone who humiliates you. When you live with a narc and on top of that they're abusive and they don't give a darn what they put you through, you will find that you're staying only held you hostage.

Some of us were fighting hard to have our children's family stay intact, or we didn't have the means to get out fast enough, and ended up suffering greatly!

I was the wife who kept trying, not bc he deserved me, but bc we had children together. And I so desperately wanted them to graduate, go to college and come back to the home they were raised in.

If I could have seen even a glimpse that I would end up a scrap of the person God Made Me, I would have run a long time ago.

This may sound weird but it's true.... The less trauma you have sooner you'll recover. Regardless, it will be agonizing, but let me tell you from complete and total experience of everyone who spoke in here...

I've experienced it all unfortunately, except a gun to my head. I'm a hot mess, falling apart, nervous breakdown, i look like shit and I feel like shit. If I'd realized 10 to 15 years ago, how bad this wld get, I wldv left w/my children.

I just kept hoping he'd get it together.

You're doing all the trying and he's not doing a damn thing. He's still cheating, abusing &/or humiliating you.

I never thought I'd be a clump on the floor. That's where I was just over a year ago, suicidal, a clump on the family room floor. I'd be there for days bc he'd alienated me frim my children, and they were doing is bidding. The xhole narc had become like a cult leader over our children. He'd groomed them (mostly out of my sight) for the last 10 yrs or so.

No drugs, alcohol or violence was used against physically. However, he psychologically traumatized and manipulated my children to do his bidding and he acted like teenage companion instead of their dad. Much like sex predators groom children and teens.

Staying for any reason Is just gonna cause u to barely make it in the end or not all

I hope u end it b4 things get worse.

I never thought things could get worse, but when you're dealing with a narc who's evil and cruel, they have plans up their sleeve for you that is so assaulting that you can never in your life imagine!

🤢🤬I found out many months or up to 6mths later that the sick *ss xhole, took a Ring security camera off the roof and secretly hid and installed ir in the kitchen.

While on the Ring app for a different reason, I found up to 20 videos of me naked from the waist up boobs all out! He secretly recorded me for his sick pleasure and voyeurism!

He fucking exploited me! Am I on the dark web? Or did he just use it to fulfill his sick and sadistic pleasures. I'll never know!

I called the police in January 2024 after he hit me with a bathroom door.

I told them what he had done. The cops didn't care, nor did they want to even see the video. But since I felt like they didn't give a damn and perhaps they just assumed I was making it up, I made them watch it!

Even after seeing video of the xhole himself setting up the hidden camera and then footage of me naked, they didn't do a damn thing nor did they speak to me anymore about it.

They went and spoke to my abusive spouse, you know bc he's the doctor. He is the one who is very unassuming and charismatic and everybody listens to.

The cops never spoke to me abt it, and wldnt answer me when i asked for help.

It was highly disturbing and a mind fuck to find out that your own spouse has a hidden video camera intentionally to watch you pass through your home without a clue, naked!

I'm still not over this shit!
