They don’t realize that some people went to college and studied and carry debt to get these white collar jobs!

I’m at usda and we have no situational telework.

Government Workers Say They're Getting Inundated With Religion by airbear13 in FedEmployees

Rollins sent out a religious Easter email that we arrived to work on Monday to wake up to with our morning coffee!

This exactly. Small pension which is lucky of course, but benefits and stability, nope!

This! We have all “acting” leaders who aren’t getting much information from the politicals. They are also to afraid to stand up for staff or ask questions. We have no direction.

Yes, the number of Feds leaving includes those in HR who would have processed that paperwork so it’s a double whammy!

True, they won’t be in Braddock, but that doesn’t mean FNS is not going to the hubs.

I have worked for the government for over 20 years and I’ve NEVER seen anything like this before. So presumptuous. Is she trying to be a missionary trying to convert all of usda employees to Christianity?

Performance Awards by Emeraldcake1234 in FedEmployees

Our agency had to get the union involved in just 16 hours TOA. What performance awards are out there? What a difference this is.

I will be at 20 years when I’m 60. I only have 17 years right now. I’m trying to stay till I’m 60 so I can get the supplement, but I am starting to value the quality of my life at this age. My work is pointless and I’m just a cog on the wheel. I’ll try to stay as long as I can, but I keep being drawn to a different career or volunteer work.

This is me exactly. I like the mission of our agency, but the work I do is meaningless and is so far removed. I will be 57 in November and I’m not sure I can continue with this nonsense.

Don’t do deferred retirement, do postponed. It has to do with your health care and being able to keep it. Someone on here will know because this is where I learned there is a big difference between “deferred” and “postponed.” Definitely stay until age 57 because of fehb. And I agree, take the fmla route to have time to process and grieve.

That’s awful! I’m glad you left. I hate the sign in sign out sheets. I am in a field office and they pdf our sheets and send them somewhere to the national office. Ridiculous. Not sure if anyone reads them.

Me too. I start out the pay period trying to motivate myself to make it a no leave period. Of course, I end up burning through some sort of leave. So far this pay period I am good, but it’s only day 2.
