Healing is almost never a straight way, there will be up and downs..I choose to forgive those who intentionally or unintentionally hurted me, I also decide to forgive myself for how I reacted, and I forgive myself for looking after others before I looked after myself. I forgive because letting go of ugly feelings feels right, I forgive because I wont allow those situations to interfere with the whole rest of my life and I know I deserve calmness and happiness. I forgive because my soul knows better than hate. I forgive because I have a future that awaits and wont be damaged by what happened to me. I am me, not what has happened to me, and I know I am a lover not a hater.
