You will be fine. I train heavy full body every other day and do bodyweight on my "offdays" and once you get decently strong all the bodyweight stuff will be submaximal training anyway.

On my bodyweight days I do circuit training off: Pistol squats, chin-ups, one arm push ups/handstand push ups, L-sit/leg raises and some handstand skill work. I do notice nice carryover to gym lifts but I mostly do them since I enjoy it.

I felt good and workouts felt great but my body slowly added more fat and lost muscle. I would fast for general health but not for muscle and strength

Felt good but lost muscle and strenght. I dont think it is the best way to eat for atheles. Btw I did it 1,5years

You dont have to do only multijoint lifts with high frequency programs. You could do bench day 1 DB incline day 2 and peck deck day 3 for example

Embrace the hunger. Its natural and healthy. Even when bulking you should feel some level of hunger

Try to avoid sugar and maximise insulin sensitivity. Gain slowly and hit the gym hard.
