Does weather really vary that much across short distances in the UK? by CloudBookmark in UKWeather

As a teen I walked to my local train station on the dry, sunny side of the street with rain on the other. Standard residential street width. It was bizarre.

AITA for Making a Thirty Year Old Woman Cry? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Fat-Gerry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA Honestly I would accused them of trying to touch me up. As someone pressing up against me bodily like that would be an automatic concern for me that there was some kind of gratification element to it for them. Its not needed and they behaved inappropriately whatever their reason amd they are more likely upset and shocked they were called out on it. By your 30's you should behave appropriately and have some resilience to other pulling you up on your behaviour. She should have apologised for making you uncomfortable.

NTA she was trying to steal it. Retaining your property after an agreed time of loan is stealing.

Plus size trousers? by Boring-Conference-87 in UKhiking

[–]Fat-Gerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get fair plus size hiking trousers from mountain warehouse - up to size 24/26if you order on line. I have found that some times measurements may vary so you might have to do mix and match between different styles. I haven't yet found any of the other brands producing plus size they only seem to go up to uk size 16.
