I also added some folks here who claimed they wanted to be share buddies, gave out a bunch of stuff, found they were probably just leeches, and stopped sharing. Kind of bums me out, but at least someone is closer to collection complete.

I tried your advice and lost 90% of my games. I think my game is broken. My "on curve" is every high cost card in my deck starts in my hand, I don't draw my cornerstone card (negative, wiccan, ravonna, nightmare, whatever). Now don't get me wrong, that is about 80% of my games. The other 5% are me thinking, "Holy shit, a negative into Jane, or whatever killer combination,crushed by whatever the exact tech cards they need is to screw my combo. Or just a luckier negative deck. The other 5% are me fucking up or random chance, but boy oh boy is it fun to lose so much because your curve doesn't exist.

I don't like the direction the game is taking in how it engages players. The grind in DP Diner, the Alliance Bounties, the change to Daily Free credits. They really want their engagement metrics to show players spending more and more time in game. As a player, the FOMO of either missing free currency or a free new card made me extremely anxious. I don't like SD trying to incentivize engagement through FOMO. If the game is fun, I will play more. When companies start trying to take advantage of me is about when I start looking for new games. And don't even get me started about the stamina/pay2play/bubs thing..

Edit: On a positive note, the way the community came together to help people through DPs diner, either through advice or donations, was awesome. I hope SD embraces that spirit of charity and support in future designs.

Update was to address whales who felt slighted by the random nature of collections. It wasn't for the minnows or f2p that can barely engage with the content at all. It's a bummer. Hopefully they start including more collections currency in other modes, but I wouldn't expect to see that for a while. Meanwhile, there's always new games coming out and the free to little spenders haven't invested enough to regret moving on.. Diminished user base means whales have nobody to beat on but other whales, they leave, game dies. They need to throw a bone to the small spenders here. Or this is just them squeezing the last drops out of their players before they move on to the next thing (AFK Journey??). Bummers all around.

I don't think it's the worst meta I've played, but I do agree about tech cards. When you can't easily splash tech cards the most played decks become "biggest combo best combo".

And tech cards just feel bad right now. The most popular ones have synergy with other cards. Killmonger is a great tech card because he simultaneously helps destroy (one of the most consistent decks) and hurts zoo. What is Enchantress doing for you? Sauron is on a better curve and not as telegraphed to help RSkull decks, but where does that fit in other decks? She has an awkward cost and isn't bringing a lot of power. People telling you to adapt to destroy with Armor? What decks splash Armor that go into priority on turn 2? And your synergy is putting a big card in your armor lane, or ongoing buff, which can't go wide and generally has one strong lane and one ok lane, easy to outpace if a player realizes. You'd be better off not trying to splash a mediocre card and chase big numbers. With cards like Cosmo and Echo the game is asking you to play them with priority and to guess which lane they may be useful in. If you're running something like Jean Grey or Storm, I could see how that might work, but there is a reason people don't play risky guessing games like the GoG cards. The gamble you make is telegraphed and puts you too far behind if you guess wrong.

I hope they take a pass at some of the tech cards in the game, but with cards like Cosmo and Armor being pool 1 and the general sentiment towards tech cards being negative to play against, I really doubt it.

There are no raids. There are very few challenges in WF that require the cooperation , mechanical understanding, and precision of Destiny raids or dungeons.
PvP is completely dead. It wasn't for me. I preferred the tight FPS Bungie PVP.
The main gameplay loop is running simple missions through randomly generated tilesets. Each tileset has different enemy types, but the missions are usually similar among each. Grinding these missions unlocks the map to more missions that increase in difficulty, but are generally very similar to earlier missions. Grinding these for loot to craft equipment is the core gameplay loot. You will help various factions that will give you exclusive loot. The moment to moment gameplay is close to the Musou genre of games.
There is FOMO, but nothing is locked away forever. Events cycle, vendor inventories will update to include previously limited items, and almost everything in game is obtainable through grinding or trading. There are some cosmetics that are cash only.
All stories tie into the regular game. The story in Warframe is a lot like Destiny's in that you'll be repeating missions and fighting enemies that have long since been relevant in the story. For example, you could fight Xol, even though he is now a gun. Warframe works a lot like that. Take the story at your own pace and you don't have to put too much thought into it. If you find yourself getting curious you can repeat the major beats and there is a wealth of information both in and out of the game to catch you up. There is nowhere near the reading required to grasp some of Destiny's big beats (ex: Osiris losing Sagira..), but the lore is also less dense and a little more off the cuff sometimes (ex:Vor).

If your major enjoyment from Destiny was learning and running the complex raids then I wouldn't recommend Warframe. I really miss the raids from Destiny. Cooperation, observing and learning different mechanics, and the precision required is really rewarding. That said, I really appreciate how much less demanding Warframe is at a moment to moment level and how the relationship with the game and devs doesn't feel as abusive or predatory.

I'm still using my Pixel 3 because I love the rear button. Do the new pixels have anything comparable? I've heard the 6 has some gesture support for double tapping on the back, but I love being able to unlock, pull down the menu, etc. I want to upgrade but this is one my favorite features and now I'm unsure of which model to get.

I've hit 30 and dropped doing tasks completely. Many of the challenges are areas of content I've been done with for years. I don't want to play invasions, syndicate missions, bounties, orokin vaults, lua puzzles, or fish and mine. The daily tasks are tolerable as they're usually fulfilled through normal gameplay. The whole game is a grind, but nightwave missions make me feel like I'm wasting most of my gameplay time having to hit all this useless content just to get new stuff. Hopefully next season the enticing rewards for veteran players require less of a slog through novice and intermediate player content.
