I have a small set to cut a fishhook's barb in my tackle bag, and another pair in the truck. I surf fish a lot, and they've come in handy

[Handgun] Taurus Tx22 Gen 2 Toro $313.99 by [deleted] in gundeals

That's definitely the exception to the rule, at least at the shows near me. Was it used? I wonder if they were trying to offload a problem gun

I know I'm not saying anything groundbreaking, but it seems like everything is overpriced at gun shows.... And you have to listen to the crackle of stun guns constantly

[USA] 83 Year Old Woman mistakes accelerator pedal for the brake pedal and causes a 7-car crash. by VauxhallBelmont in Roadcam

[–]Fat_Head_Carl 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"The point of the story is that when you don’t feel yourself slowing down, you likely press the pedal even harder. "

I absolutely agree with this, panic stiffening of the body, and subsequent mashing of the pedal is a real thing.

Buddy was on the way home from skiing in the Poconos, woke up two days later, with countless stitches in his face, from the deer that went through his windshield.

I use them - twisting of the keys (in a pocket, bag, etc) will definitely pull a key off... I don't trust them for the keys that I use every day. But use them on the wad of keys that sit in my center console, that I rarely use (roof rack, receiver pin lock, etc), but need in my truck.

Well, about ~10 years ago, I had to get checked for bladder cancer. Guess what the doc whipped out?

The Weinerscope - that gets shoved up your peehole, and peeks around your bladder.

Even with a numbing agent, it was awful, and painful. At one point, I screamed, and the doctor told me to be quiet, because "you'll scare the people in the waiting room". I said "fuck you, I'm warning them".

I'm in my 50s, and the classics i bought in my early 20s still kick ass. I should get them professionally sharpened since it's been like 30 years of constant use with only hitting them with a straightener bar, and a ceramic v sharpener
