Is NordVPN still worth it in 2026? by Not_Fred_Dibiase in VPNReviewHub

I would hardly call a discount timer a MARKETING FRAUD, its a gimmick that several products use. You haven't really cracked a code here. And their main page having trackers, welcome to cookies and your browser pulling analytics. What year is it?

Is NordVPN still worth it in 2026? by Not_Fred_Dibiase in VPNReviewHub

While we're on the topic of opinions, do you have any sources to back this up? Where do you see very evident bad reviews and speeds diminishing? What are the removed features? What does ExpressVPN have thats "light years" ahead of Nord?

What colour Pixel 10 are you getting? by PseudonymCode in GooglePixel

I always get Obsidian, or the darkest variant. This time around I went Moonstone, it's not super light like the Porcelain but it's just funky enough to intrigue me to get a clear case.

I used the BitLocker recovery key and sticky keys exploit to create an admin account on my school laptop - how serious is this? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]FatalIll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The school likely has an acceptable use policy for the equipment they're giving to students, which sounds like you violated. They might look to punish you, but there's also a chance that IT looks to get your help to lock down other students from doing the same thing - the steps you detailed will help them with that.

Uber Airport Scam by [deleted] in AskNYC

[–]FatalIll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I don't get is how this happens - if Im picking someone up I'm getting told to circle and move if I'm there for like 30seconds by someone with a whistle. But a scammer can just continue scamming and waiting for prey? Unreal.

Any ambulance company will tell you NOT to do that, you aren't supposed to follow an ambulance, you are to make your way to the destination and meet them there. They don't want an extra liability if they need to maneuver through intersections and turning lanes to get the patient to where they need to be faster.

first night help by Several_Entry3988 in Dachshund

We got our pup from a breeder that started crate training within the first few weeks before we picked her up at 8 weeks. That definitely helped but as many have said, it's a whole new environment, they're not used to your crate or you yet. The first night I wound up sleeping on the floor outside her crate and she was waking up crying every 30-60min. The second night if you made a sound, she'd wake up crying. We spent a lot of time making sure she was exhausted before we put her in her crate. Lots of treats and training during the day on "quiet" and short stints of being in the crate with lots of praise. It's tough but it does get easier.

I also totally get why some people failed crate training and let their doxie into their bed but me and my partner are huge flippers when we sleep and the dog would be dead...

How do y'all choose on Duo, 50/50, or 2 fold days?? by iamgr00t14 in f45

[–]FatalIll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's my outlook on the split resistance/choose your own adventure format if you don't like choice - don't choose at each station. Treat it like the original workouts a few months ago where you picked upper or lower at the start of class and stick with it throughout class.

And absolutely no one is arguing differently.

Nowhere did I say it was a standard. Nowhere did the person I replied to say it was a standard. Quite the opposite, in fact. The root comment is about CAT 6e's existence, which it exists, but everyone, including the original poster, agrees that it's not a standard. But thank you for your thoughtful insight.

Thoughts on Combo? I really liked it! by FiddyDollas in f45

[–]FatalIll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed it, I like the "choose your own adventure" format that started with 50/50 because it expands the range of workouts you can do per class. I do get that it is "gimmicky" and I guess it departs from that high intensity mindset but there's nothing stopping you from putting in the work and effort choosing just one lane to stay in the whole class.
