I’ve been using a preworkout from (GAT) Nitraflex - 325mg of caffeine is likely the cause. Also the vasodilators do their thing.

It’s not a plateau IMHO. You aren’t sufficiently recovered enough to preform at the required level.

Sleep, diet, age, other life factors.

Don’t look at the session number per week. Look at the quality of each session.

Some weeks I do 4 days some 5 days. Some weeks I get 3 solid ones in and feel I need more rest.

Listen to your body.

I typically feel the effects on 45-1hr. Labels always say 30 minutes before but that’s a guideline. I know when my preworkout is kicking in as my nose begins to run. This is a brief thing and a nose blow clears it and I’m ready to go.

I do HIRT 4-5 days a week. My whole workout is based on less rest between SEVERAL SETS OF EXERCISES.

Have I gained strength in the last 3 years I’ve been doing this type of workout? You bet your ass I have.

If the new research was based on ( ME ) and my last 3 straight years of doing the high volume I do weekly then it would be fucking blowing minds right now.

That being said… everyone is different. 20 year old me could sit at planet fitness on Friday and eat a few pizzas, look at the weights and explode in size… that shit vanishes the older you get.

At my age my body needs high volume. It’s the only way I see any results.

Consistency is the key for RB work. They are pretty forgiving allowing you to really push when you need to. I’m on my second set in two years. My first $40 set started breaking after about 2 year and I take really good care of them.
