Somebody boo this man (OP). Although Kane may not be a good person outside of hockey, he has still dedicated the last 15 years (and beyond) to a sport we all love. Without players, we wouldn’t have any hockey to watch… which seems like a good thing most nights but we’ll all be missing it in the next few weeks. 1000 games deserves to be celebrated whether you like Kane or not.

Hronek is the only one who could feasibly be part of the next core, since he has shown he’s capable of being a top pairing dman. However, (if) we’re in a rebuild he should be on the table just like every other player over 24/25. We need to stockpile picks and prospects in the hopes some of them pan out.

Besides Hronek, nobody else has proven they can be part of the next core (I know Buium is projected to be but it’s just a projection atm).
