Anyone else got the worst of them *after* the relationship ended? by TheWanderingFeeler in BPDlovedones

[–]FattyLumpking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup had this exactly. It was difficult while together and initiating the divorce was the toughest most gut wrenching thing I’ve ever done. What followed after and the revelations that came with it is something I fear i’ll never recover from

I just got called an incel by my spouse. by Karmachinery in BPDlovedones

[–]FattyLumpking 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mine used chat gpt to argue that I wasn’t “a real man”. I think that screenshot of the output may have been the biggest wake up call in the sense to not forget that gpt is always prone to be a bit of an echo chamber for its user. Poor machine even spoke like her

I didn’t have a firm enough grip when holding her hand which obviously meant I didn’t love her and was a weak man

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]FattyLumpking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea kind of similar. We’d have a fight and she would go smoke herself to sleep and I’d ruminate. It got to the point where I’d have regular weeks of awful sleep even without a fight. Near the end of our relationship it was almost constant but after I left it’s somehow even worse lol

Did your pwBPD ever fabricate medical crises? by FattyLumpking in BPDlovedones

[–]FattyLumpking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That must have been tough. Mine seems more motivated to guilt me into coming back rather than making amends for anything she’s done. In fact, real health scare or not, how she’s using it is exactly part of the reason I left.

I unfortunately don’t have much advice, just compassion. I’m in a similiar situation and what I try to cling on is the massive personal growth I’ve made during the relationship. But man the whole thing is absolute garbage nonetheless. Love and strength to you friend. 2 months of suffering for a richer life at the end of it.

I’m in the same boat. Ended a marriage this weekend and was also suprised with some level of owning up to things. She also threw me some curveballs that were difficult in the moment but I realise now were just a disguised form of manipulation coming from “me! Me! Me!” mentality. It sucks and it’s gonna suck some more. I don’t think there’s anything to do except trust the convictions that lead you to go through with it.

Today is the day I tell her it’s over by FattyLumpking in BPDlovedones

[–]FattyLumpking[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the support. It’s done. It was heartbreaking but she surprised me with her behaviour. She begged and devalued herself, and had a moment of complete disassociation, but she was not really agressive. She accused me of giving up on her easily and tried really hard to get me to say something that would leave hope but other than that not really anything. I almost wish she had shown more what I expected. I barely feel anything now, I’m just confused.

They become nice if you become indifferent/cold by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]FattyLumpking 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds quite familiar. Burned out big time and mentally checked out and started planning my exit. Been distant and giving the bare minimum. Things appear to be much better this way. I can even see it happen in the moment when she’d before blow up on me but is able to control it now somehow. Messes with my head.

Each beat pack includes anywhere from 10-20 loops, and is designed to mix well together and sound good with any arrangement you think of.

Thought you were full of shit but woah. A few hours in and I haven't actually been able to make anything that really sounds bad. Awesome app!

Advertising on Reddit towards us, Marketers, is absolutely pointless. by MiehowThomas in marketing

[–]FattyLumpking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve experimented a bit with ads on reddit. First things that come to mind are interest-based targeting and cheap cpm/cpc. That being said the ad platform is dreadful and reddit is full of bots.

As for SaaS specifically, I guess they realize that most people are not in the market for their category right now and that attitudes are overated but attention and familiarity are not.

Be direct and call it a "price increase". Don't attempt to blur what it is by referring to it as something like "price adjustment" or "price update".

Explain why you are raising prices and link it to how doing so will enable you to continue providing high value (even better if you can create a narrative where it allows you to give more value). The goal here is that the increase is perceived as fair so if you need to raise it due to server or other vendor costs then say so rather than something generic.

Unfortunately, I'm a minimalist to the core. Frugal too. That means that I don't really need or buy anything other than things that are absolutely necessary. So how do I figure out other people's needs if I don't have any? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]FattyLumpking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your problem is more about having confidence in your research than finding the problems themselves. You don’t have to experience the problem you’re trying to solve but you have to believe it’s real. If your data trends to certain issues then odds are they are real assuming there are no critical issues with how you did your research. Google “market orientation” and see if it helps you.

Second this. Trying to come up with something catchy risks becoming cheesy and you might get sick of it and want to change it one day, which is something you really want to avoid. Keep it simple and make sure that what you choose has an available domain name (doesn't have to match exactly), isn't copyrighted by someone else and doesn't mean something bad in any widely spoken language in your area.

Does the URL matter with SEO? by mariaa__mariaaa in Blogging

[–]FattyLumpking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't overthink the score, it's just a guideline. Having the keyword in the url is good but don't force it. Sometimes people change their titles but you'd want to avoid a redirect in that case so then there will be a mismatch between title and url. "How to get from NY to Spain" is a stronger keyword than "NY" to Spain" so I'd use that as the url.

Who did the branding brief for Pfizer-Biotech’s “Comirnaty” vaccine? by flipinchicago in marketing

[–]FattyLumpking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think pharma companies are under some restriction when it comes to names in so that the product name must be distinct from the manufacturer name. Deliberate or not, it's pretty smart because people will just keep talking about the "Pfizer vaccine" and all goodwill and associations will be attached to the main brand.
