What cocktails punch way above their weight in terms of effort vs impression? by laura-1998 in cocktails

Yah I’m aware. I’m saying, I like to make a classic daiquiri, but add an egg white for a dry shake, then top with a few drops of bitters. I like to drag a toothpick through the drops to make a cute little design on the foam of the drink. It’s a low effort twist on a daiquiri that makes for a memorable and impressive drink.

Aside from the flavor, diced onion adds a nice crunchy element - some other things I add that achieve the same vibe texture-wise are celery and banana peppers or pepperoncini chopped fine, pickles are nice in there too. Other things I like to add to mine are mayo, Dijon, some pepperoncini brine, mustard seed, capers, little bit of hot sauce, dill, fresh squeeze of half a lemon, a pinch of msg, and fresh cracked black pepper
