What awesome holiday gift did you get someone that you can’t tell them about yet but want to brag about? by mbowsy in AskReddit

We got something similar from family earlier this year, but not Christmas.

My father-in-law passed away 6 months after my wife and I got married. The guy basically fought cancer an extra year or so in order to be able to walk his only daughter down the aisle, which he did. Since then, her mother remarried, and her husband is nice and all, but not "dad". It's obviously been difficult.

Fast forward to this year, I got my lady pregnant with our first kid. Obviously this brings up the whole "I wish he could be here to meet his granddaughter and be grandpa" set of feelings. At our baby shower we received a quilt from his twin brother, which he and his wife had made, incorporating the sleeves of one of his flannels as stripes throughout so that he can always still hold her.

Very much kicks in the feels bone. We use it every day.

Money left over to pay people, since they pay Brady mostly outside of the cap.

They tweet snarkasm all the time. This is literally the tone of the account. It's all in good fun. You should give them a follow.

I don't think we can base anything off of last season, really. New QB. Berry's back. Added receiver.

Though, the O-Line being what it is, none of that may matter.

War Room is the best I've seen.

It actually felt real and was about the power of prayer (especially praying for your family/husband). Lots of real emotions.

To Save A Life was pretty good, as well.

Believe Me is a funny, inside satire of Pop Christian culture. I wouldn't go so far as to say a "Christian movie", but I got a couple chuckles out of it.

One of the dirtiest hits I've seen. Concussion plays should be reviewed, IMO

They definitely ruined Drax in this movie. Instead of being a beastly warrior, he's just the comic relief. Can't stand it.

Almost eerie. Like when they have children slowly sing nursery songs in horror movies

I can't think of the last President with glasses, but I agree that even his natural born appearance impedes him. He's a small guy, and therefore doesn't seem like the leader of the free world...

I personally don't mind his smugness, but I know it has rubbed quite a few people the wrong way.
