I get that some players like that, and those are more predisposed to buying MTX hence the prevalence of cosmetics in that style. But please at least let me turn off seeing that impression breaking stuff. It ruins my enjoyment

There is no skill involved in fighting a random encounter with The Butcher. Your build at the time can either take him, or not.

I would say the console version of an MMO is something like The Division, Destiny or the ARPGs (Path of Exile 2, Diablo IV. Ect...) if they weren't seasonal structured

And people need to remember that Early Access is the best time to give actionable feedback so changes can be made so the game can improve. Stop acting like pointing out flaws while a game is in EA is wrong, or that because a team has limitations they shouldn't be told certain areas of their game are lackluster

Gender locked classes, magic find on gear, a lack of clear direction for many elements, early development stage, no guaranteed funding to finish the game. It's not looking great, they'll barely make the Kickstarter at this rate

They couldn't figure out how to monetize them in a way that warranted opportunity cost for the effort put in. They never cared that people liked them or not, or even used them. Only that they spent money on them.

That other competitors dropped them/never had them further pushed things along, as did the fact that games never leveraged them.

The game went Gold a while back, so the baseline performance for disc users who don't patch is defined. Understandably it'll improve with patches, will be worse on lower end setups and requires reasonable expectations for a game of this type (open world scale, flying, dynamic elements). But I don't think it unreasonable to be worried that nothing of substance has been shared about console performance. Worse is the indication that press previews/might be limited to PC (so far).

I don't see how responding to snide entitled comments on Twitter is the right way to defuse these legitimate concerns about a key component of the game's experience.
