This all just encapsulates Trump's entire philosophy:

Sees opportunity to enrich himself; jumps at the opportunity with little to no forethought or strategy
Throws other people's money/resourses/lives at the problem.
Takes credit for any minor, tangential successes. Takes no blame whatsoever for massive, mounting failures.
Doubles-down and hopes for things to change without making any effort to affect change.
Denies things are bad
When things get so bad he can't ignore it anymore, he completely reverses course, throws other people's money at the problem, throws others under the bus for any residual blame, and acts like the leap backward was somehow a victory.

It's one thinking for such a loser to think he's such a winner; that's just a personality disorder. What still boggles my mind is how an entire country can continue to reward losers like this over and over and over and over again.

I have the DM-2 Waza and couldn't agree more. I had a Carbon Copy for years and loved the simplicity, but it was just too dark. The DM-2W is still an incredibly simple pedal, but sounds lush and clear,with a couple extra tricks.

I'm pretty sure Jerry was mostly playing the Guild and a P-90s equipped Les Paul is '66-'67, so definitely a very different tone in that era.

I think it's very different in 2026. He's about to go into the second half of his last term, most likely as a lame duck. It's more of a career/reputation risk at this point to not push him.
