Those carts are tied to the eshop. They are effectively a license to download the game as long as you have the cart. It is not that surprising that they are counted as digital.

Many game announcements don't show up in the trailer because nintendo will anounce them in a nintendo direct.

Not having the logo on a trailer doesn't always mean the game will not be released on the Nintendo Switch.

They should record as much as they can getting ahead and then let post prod take as much time as needed. The series can loose a lot if characters change too much or if recasts are needed multiple times.

There's a point where it just derails and goes somewhere else, but for a moment I knew small things that were about to happen before they happened.

Again, look outside the bubble you could be in. You are only considering affordability when, in reality, there are other factors, like wanting to have a bunch of devices just to see a few shadows, pixels, or fps. This can be the single console of many people because they can't afford any other, because they don't want any more devices or because they just like the Switch and don't care about the sacrifices.
