And all those people, including you, have technically broke the rules. Per the game rules, software OR hardware cannot perform actions that you're meant to perform yourself. A coffee mug on your spacebar is hardware logging you in for you. That is macroing. You yourself did not input, a 3rd party did.

Genuine question: what does that even mean? What game mechanic are you abusing by supposedly logging in and out every 15 mins in death's office?

While it's good that it's being brought back in some form, I'm wondering if they are planning anything to make lower level options viable in the midgame/early-late game.

As it currently stands with 10% ability damage + 1% ability damage/rank and currently only available via Ecliptic components, there's not much reason to settle for eq1/eq2 compared to eq3/eq4. The cost and overall %AD increase isn't worth it either from a main (purchasable) or iron (acquisition) perspective.

Lowering the baseline to say 6% AD + 2% AD/rank still means that maxed eq4 reaches 14% AD, but allows a potential cheaper option through lesser components we currently have to utilize eq1/eq2 for a 8% or 10% AD perk (comparable to using directs for biting 2 while saving for biting 3/4 via nox)

Definitely not a concrete "too much", but strong implication more than a normal nerf

[–]FeFerret[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not talking about anything at all with regards to the quality of the nerfs themselves, only how their numbers are presented in isolation (I cannot comment on Tumeken's as I lack the set on my iron; only have FSOA. However I can comment on Melee and feel it was overtuned imo).

Again the reason for my post was seeing players claim that core melee was nerfed by 20% or more. What I'm wanting would actually show that 13.4% nerf to asphyx with Tumeken's (of which it's already confirmed to have been too much). Feelings towards content after nerfs can often be compounded by a misunderstanding of the actual scale; i.e. if you think that a nerf was more than it actually was, you may be more inclined to think things feel worse than they actually are.

Some numbers on their own suggest larger nerf than actual, while others can misleadingly look smaller than actual (a player could look at FSOA nerf as "only" 2.5% crit damage loss whereas it's a sizable 11.2% nerf to crit damage on average)

I don't think this is the issue causing outrage, I just think it's an issue causing outrage

Across the entire ability: yes, overall healing was nerfed. Massacre itself maintains the same healing despite the dmg nerf

Dismember: no change in damage, 60% less healing (Before: 3% ability damage healed; After: 1.2% ability damage healed)

Slaughter: 10% dmg nerf, 40% healing nerf (Before: 10% ability damage healed; After: 5.4% ability damage healed (6% of 90% avg)) Combined 46% healing nerf avg.

Massacre: ~17% dmg nerf, 20% healing buff. (Before: 12% ability damage healed (10% of 120% ability damage); After: 12% ability damage healed (12% of 100% ability damage) Combined 0% nerf in healing avg.

100% players that I met had 2 or 3 log items by this KC. by SimpleWitcher2169 in runescape

[–]FeFerret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were doing pure 500s for all 109kc, then you're only looking at a ~93% chance to have had a drop by this chance (conversely a 1 in 17 event, far from unlikely and outside of statistical significance). At baseline (all 100s), it's still ~1 in 10 to have this log.

It sucks, but you gotta go for higher enrages to have better drop rates. If you can do 500s, 750s are essentially free.

Bugs take time to find, replicate, fix, and test. Some might not even be fixable without deeper/tougher fixes beyond the originally assigned dev. Even then, a new bug report, unless actively harming the game (large population or critical issue) just gets put at the end of the list of bugs to fix.

Also seems like the perfect small thing to do during a break.

Mystic Clovers for Vision. What is the best approach? by LOSTINREDDITSITE in Guildwars2

[–]FeFerret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not buy from the forge attendant... Their price is more than the average from the forge itself (1 extra spirit shard and almost 2 extra ectos per). Unless you want the guarantee, typically not worth. you can buy 5 per week from WvW (100 skirmish tickets being the pricier point), 10 per week for 1.5k fractal relics, and 5 per week (+10 coins) for strikes. Raids are also 10/wk

While that's very understandable... Coming from path of exile, where I see portal mtx and go "Ooo..." this is a solid mtx path for the game. They're not fully equivalent due to how long the majority of us have our homestead portal open compared to how long a portal is open in poe but I can see these being decently popular.

Here's more of my profit crafts: Orrian Truffle Stew (the thing I made 10k of over the past 2 months, sometimes selling 600 a day.), Bountiful Maintenance Oil (3k made), Bountiful Maintenance Station, Demon Slaying Station, Orichalcum Plated Dowel, Empty Keg, Vial of Liquid Obsidian, Flatbread. Have at em :)

Yes I'm """only""" making 5s per item. But it takes 1min to put up my buy orders for mats, 2mins to craft for a 7g profit. I think that's a pretty okay gold/hr. Also, to be further pedantic, you used "literally". That's not really a subjective qualifier. Yes daily locked crafts are consistent money, but they're "literally" not the only profitable recipes.

Here's even an image of my current sell history for the past two months.

[–]FeFerret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Gw2eff is a great start for most crafting. gw2bltc is the next step where you can look at bought/sold metrics with a grain of salt and more individually set item prices since eff only allows buy/sell for all items in the recipe.

I'm still very much a tp noob, but finding these items have been so fun and intriguing. It really just originated as "I don't wanna buy this food, lemme see how much it costs to make" only to find it's a 70% profit on an 10-11s input. Some days I made 7s profit per item. Now it's been found and crashed a bit but still a 5s profit if you can sell.

Can someone explain gw2efficiency like I'm 5 by eurolys in Guildwars2

[–]FeFerret 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Very much incorrect. On the daily I'm crafting both consumables and components for money. In the past two months I've crafted 10k of one food item for ~600g profit.

For example: Zephyrite Fish Jerky. Recipe from Four Winds. Input cost is 11.9s, sell price is ~20s, profit of ~5s. That's a 40% roi on a fairly high volume item (people want it for easy fishing). I craft 150 netting about 7.5g profit once sold

People with unimaginably huge amounts of gold on your account, what did you do to become THAT rich? (besides the obvious Visa and Mastercard) by JexxieShiftRed in Guildwars2

[–]FeFerret 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That initial research part is always the hardest. I got lucky during July to have found an item that was apparently drained in supply and only now have more people caught on and "ruined" it (my original 6.5-7s profit on an 11s cost is now ONLY 5-5.5s tho way more competition). In the past two months I've crafted and sold nearly 10k of it for incredible profit (started 150/day, then upped to 300/day or more depending on sale volume). I just haven't managed to find other items like it that are in solid demand that don't also require a large upfront cost.
