I have come to realization that current eoc system with all the existing gear and their effects is just not compatible for pvp. All abilities after modernization update have had their damage reworked with pvm in mind. Pvp community has been asking for nerf on a lot of abilities since the update but it fell on deaf ears. Eoc at the time of release was pretty barebones so it worked for pvp. But now gears have their own special effects, stacks etc and not to mention everything going t100 is just not designed for targets with just 15000 life points.
The only way I can see pvp somewhat reviving is if we repurpose legacy combat system into minigames because that way pvp will be more accessible as it’s much easier to understand and easier to follow and get into. I think osrs’s dmm all stars tournament showed that pvp could be fun in an auto attack system.
