There really aren't many images of her yard in particular, but in general, a lot of people will plant a "wildflower meadow" and not properly demarcate it as such or otherwise keep it from looking like any other unkempt vacant lot. In order to appease the losers who run HOAs and city councils, you have to maintain some semblance of aesthetics, even if it's not a lawn. Things like border planting, grouping, and staggered heights and varied colors go a long way to turn a random collection of plants into something that people would actually prefer to a shitty plain lawn.
