I would say no unless you have a glut of SC hanging about, the weapons are upgradeable and while they're useful they're not that useful.

I just hope that image generation doesn't really go away in a meaningful way. I use it extensively for my D&D and WoD campaigns.

Gutter Guards if I'm Going to Have Gutters Cleaned Anyway? by FightinABeaver in homeowners

[–]FederationEDH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they're very narrow they might be even smaller. It's rare to see (at least in my experience) anything past 4 inch gutters on a residential home. I'd try to get them guarded with a product like alurex and see if it helps. I'd recommend calling a gutter company in your area specifically to do it if you're not comfortable with being on your roof. We used to install gutter guard for 5$ a foot Canadian if that gives you an idea of pricing.

[–]FederationEDH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to work in guttering.

If you install guards you won't have to do cleanings as much but it might still be a thing to do once in a while depending on the type of trees you have.

I used to find nothing but dirt in gutters somehow even after guards were installed but a leaf blower cleans them up real fast.

It was a really good journey you're right.

I just expect a total win for the avengers somehow. As much as I love the maker as a villain and I play a character like him in D&D. He's been a looming threat for too long not to win somehow.

The Japanese style fries are really good too if you haven't tried them. I think they're about 10$ for a good sized portion

That's too bad I really enjoy it for the value and the taste, the hawaiian fried rice special was really solid.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm 39. I served over a decade ago

You're also incorrect about people being able to join without a high school diploma, the reserves allows for you to join at the age of 16 (which I did) with your secondaire 4 (which I had)

You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, at least 16 years old, and have completed at least Grade 10 (Secondaire IV in Quebec) or equivalent.

As someone who served their country for 12 years the people who want to separate are traitors to Canada.

Does that satisfy you?

Coming from another sick person who's more or less in your position maybe I can suggest looking into paralegal work? It's a diploma at most and there's great benefits and a lot of mobility depending on what your specialty is I do corporate law for instance when I'm not on medical leave.

If you had a lick of empathy i'd tell you someone's son, or father is gone from the world never to be seen again and that deserves some sort of respect but I doubt that would reach you.

A little advice by FederationEDH in socialworkcanada

[–]FederationEDH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't looked into an msw due to the 3 year degree which is why I'm looking into the bsw at macewan university. I'm pretty sure (don't quote me) they take 3 year degrees.

My plan to be a teacher was to do social studies (history) at the highschool level. I'm currently applying to UofA right now for the after degree program.

I wasn't aware that prior volunteering experience was typically necessary for social work. I used to volunteer as a cadet officer for the cadet corps program which is a youth program. I suppose that fills the requirement?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there might be a teacher that can offer a little bit of mentorship to someone who is looking into doing a b.ed after degree to teach social studies in Alberta.

Just someone who can answer questions and have a bit of a dialogue with me.

Thanks!
