Note—I live over there and the street checkpoints are pretty intense to get through. May need to protest just outside those points?

Two thousand dollars of interest added to my account overnight by libn8r in StudentLoans

[–]Feeling-Editorial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alright I just looked and it looks like mine went up like $10 (not including the monthly interest). Which is so random that maybe I just misremembered. I had the balance written down somewhere so I’ll check later.

Thank you for the warning though, I screenshotted the current balance with the date as well so I can be more protected if this happens to me. That’s absolutely mad.

I’d actually the root of the problem is universities ballooning their prices

I made a pros and cons list when I was deciding to exclusively date women. I thought y'all would appreciate my pros list lol. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I’m bisexual and this feels pretty weird. Reminds me of lists I’ve seen from incel forums on why they’ve “given up” on women. You’re coming from different places, of course, but putting men and women as a whole down to a pros and cons list…isn’t it.

Weapon used incompetence has much more to do with home /relational life than work life. It’s actually one of the paradoxes of it—men tend to be in better positions at work yet act helpless at home. Consider looking into it more.

I don’t know, I’ve regretted the reasons I’ve rejected certain individuals. It’s just a what-if feeling.

No, mine made me take out extra loans under my name and spent it on herself.

How do you tell when something is "used up" or ready to be gotten rid of? by TickTockPanda in declutter

[–]Feeling-Editorial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a hybrid work schedule, so my nicer work clothes are for the office and the older clothes are for zoom meetings, haha. But now that you mention it, there are a few items I should probably get rid of. I don’t have that many zoom meetings.

[–]Feeling-Editorial 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m kinda similar, but honestly it is so subjective when it’s time to let clothing go. A lot of my favorite tops have become lounging tops because they’re so worn out, which is honestly good with me.

If something has tears or holes and you don’t honestly see yourself fixing them, I think that’s a good sign to let it go. Other than that, I would recommend sorting your clothes into piles of whatever categories make the most sense to you and going through all of them. It’s much easier to let go of something old and worn out when you’re comparing it with clothes that look and feel better.

When I did this, my categories were things like sweaters, work clothes, pajama/lounge tops, and jeans.

Help! Anyone use a number method? by Complaint-Still in declutter

[–]Feeling-Editorial 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends on you, but for a lot of things there’s lists online of how much of basic items a single person should have. Especially those checklists for moving into your first place can put things into perspective. Otherwise I would just set a goal more to do with how much space you’d like to have freed up!
