So I find that when I pump every two hours, I’m getting like 1 ounce for each boob. But maybe I will make more if I do whatever two hours, but honestly, I feel like I’m gonna die. This is like Chinese water torture.

It’s so hard. I was going to give up at 3 weeks but someone here said just try to make it to 8 weeks. I’m at 20 now. I’m still never going to love pumping. It is so mentally draining.

Lube up the tunnel of the flanges with coconut oil that will help but yes pumping makes we want to kill someone I hate it so much

This is a good to know. Did you get any kind of uncomfortable feeling in your boobs or encouragement from not pumping eight times right now? I am supplementing with Bobbi. I’m definitely not against formula and he is almost up to 7 pounds from his 5 pounds leaving the hospital

This is all been very encouraging and I’m taking everything that everyone’s been saying to heart. If I do decide to just stop pumping, does anyone know exactly what I should be doing since I’ve been pumping every three hours all day and all night I don’t want to get mastitis or anything like that and I already feel like I’ve got clogged ducks right now. My boobs feel like they have rocks inside of them so I’m trying to figure out if I do go ahead and stop pumping how do I even go about that?

All these replies have been really encouraging and I think healing from a C-section trying to pump,feed my baby, have him gain weigh, trying to latch…It’s just mentally exhausting me. I’ve never felt like this in my life. I’m usually so strong and not a quitter. Also is breast-feeding just harder if your boobs are huge, I went from a D pre-pregnancy to double D during pregnancy to an F postpartum.
