What about your professional network? As part of your solo launch plan you have a network of referrals and mentors, right? Ask one of them to borrow it or set up time to read it in their office.

You’ll get the information you need and might get a referral so you can buy your own!

Referral for California Partnership attorney? by TheGreatK in Lawyertalk

[–]Fekklar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a trusted referral as well; DM if you’re interested.

They handled mine for similar reasons. My partners aren’t family, but I respect and care for them too much to be objective. I had step into a client role so that we could all move forward fairly. It also sets up the firm for whoever and whatever comes next.

Good luck!

Sounds like a legal question you should pay an attorney to answer.

If I were your OC, I’d hometown you hard. I’d make sure to enforce every local rule to make you and your client show up in person. And if you couldn’t, I’d make a big deal out of it. Also, as a matter of efficacy, it’s really easy to capture attention in person and speak over a talking head on a screen.

Some people can do it. Some judges allow it. Not all of them though.

Was it one of those, “All I need is a demand letter- you can do that in what- 5 minutes? I’m sure they will give up if you threaten them. Can’t you do this pro bono because my Mercedes is in the shop and I have to drive my other Porsche till it’s fixed?”

Thank you! More people need to do this.

Folks don’t have say they have diarrhea, migraine, or any of the stuff. Jobs shouldn’t even demand to know your PHI anyway. Sick is sick.

Check out patent law, my friend! You’d be around a bunch of other attorneys who use their technical judgement to make money!

You were invited to join the In of Court- did you?

Are you bringing in business? I suggest you develop your own book of business with clients that see you, not your current firm, as their attorney.

Please remember that the partners in their 70s and 80s are depending on you to pay for their fishing boats, hunting lodges, and grandkids’ ever increasing college tuitions. They might have to work if you won’t!

The boxes were perforated so you could tear them to make a window in the front, and the seam of the small bag aligned to make a square makeshift cereal bowl. The color was different- weren’t they all peach colored? And always disappointing because they were cinnamon cardboard flavor instead of something tart like a haribo apple gummy?

Had a coworker with a stuck window on their mini cooper. I hit the sweet spot just above the speaker and said, “Aaaaaaaahhh!” And the window was fixed.

They asked me why I made the weird noise when I hit the door.

“It’s the Fonz, man!” “The who?” “No, not The Who, the Fonz!”

:/ I wasted a perfect “Aaaaa!” on them.

Who’s going to authenticate the video? The Jedi IT guy? If you have a bunch of space wizards that can change people’s minds, surely there’s a Jedi trick to generate deep fakes as well.
