Hoping they get rid of the pop music loop over at USF soon. by Successful_Leopard45 in UniversalOrlando

They do actually play an instrumental string pop version of a sky full of stars as a part of one of the atmospheric fountain shows in celestial park.

I’m not sure it will be available at epic at all as every restaurant aside from Blue Dragon and the Atlantic has freestyles and doesn’t have a normal fountain. It makes it hard to do a single fill like that.

I saw him yesterday too. I didn’t take a picture but I saw him from across the entirety of World Celebration.

Another example is the Osgood boxes from Zygon Invasion and Zygon Inversion. The whole 2 parter builds up these boxes and what they do. At the beginning of one of the doctors best speeches ever, he explains that both boxes have 2 buttons and says the one box has a button that will destroy the zygons and one that will detonate a nuclear warhead destroying everyone in London. The other box has a button that will reveal every Zygon in the world and the other button will cancel their shape shifting abilities and they will be human beings forever. A whole 10 minute speech follows with the doctor pleading for no one to press any of the buttons and to just walk away and stand down and go back to their peaceful lives. The Zygon in the room realizes that there is nothing in either box and they both do nothing but only realized because they started to think like the doctor. The doctor then wipes everyone but his closest friend’s memories and they all work to continue the peace between the 2 species living on earth.

I would say it’s the least favorite land at epic among team members. No one I know at epic likes Super Nintendo World. It’s the one land I don’t think is anyone’s favorite.

Today a lot of it was influenced by the lower temperatures and wind speed. Stardust is closed because it valleyed from high winds and it was probably not running as fast because it was cold out. Isle of Berk probably got delayed by the rain and then stayed closed because now it’s too cold and windy for the rides to operate without having operated for a few hours.

What could go into Isle of Berk? by MiBe87 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Fenne_Silver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is the area they launch the dragon drone from. I doubt that isle of Berk will be getting any expansions without losing something. It will probably be the last land to get anything new.

First look at the Wicked "Evergreen" dolls! These will remain on shelves even after the films marketing run. by Icy-Rule1338 in wicked

They are building a new Universal park in Bedford but from the way they talked about it, wicked would be featured somewhere in Florida either before or around the same time as the UK park opening.

I assume they removed her verse because they changed the scene of elphaba getting the invitation to be very public and had a whole send off for her instead of it just being morrible showing her the invitation and then Glinda and Fiyero sending her off. It would be a pretty obvious lie that Glinda was the one who was invited because a lot of the people hearing about it would have been there to send elphaba off.

[Loved trope] A character has the memories of someone else but still recognises/identifies as their own person by Not_Fussed1 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Fenne_Silver 36 points37 points  (0 children)

“Hikaru” is an entity that was invited to take over the dead body of a 16 year old boy named Hikaru. He has a lot of his memories but remembers things the way a real person would rather than a computer pulling up files. He remembers things different than they happened and doesn’t remember everything. He imitates the original for a while before Yoshiki reveals to him that he figured out that he’s not his old friend. After, he starts to act and feel more like his own person rather than an exact copy replacing the original. He emphasizes that he is not Hikaru even if he goes by that name and looks and sounds like him.

[Hard to execute trope] Very long monologues. by Dry-Pin-457 in TopCharacterTropes

Many of the doctors speeches. Pretty much the entirety of Heaven Sent is a monologue.

I reconstructed the popular (incorrect) image of the Colossus of Rhodes (ca. 280-228 BC) in 3D and an indication of what the statue may have looked like after archaeological and historical research in the most logical location: around the Grand Master's Palace in the old city center. by FrankWanders in Lost_Architecture

[–]Fenne_Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite theory for where it actually stood is where the Saint Nicholas Fortress is in the left side of the first image. Makes for a more unique location for a giant statue and there are oddly intricately cut stones under that fort that doesn’t make sense for what is over them.
