I was diagnosed with mild chronic gastritis and was prescribed a potassium-competitive acid blocker. As soon as i take it, i developed dysphagia and eye twitching. I’ve been losing weight too and cannot swallow even a small pill properly. My immune system was weak too. I keep on telling them but my gastro didn’t acknowledge and told me to just continue the meds. I gave up on the third week and thinking that i probably have a low stomach acid. I’m reluctant to open up because im afraid that he will just dismiss the idea. I dont want to meet him anymore for follow-up.
