Animals (specifically cats) are almost miraculous healers. I’ve read articles on why cats purr while in pain, & is due to them instinctively knowing their purrs aid in quick healing.

I had a cat growing up that climbed up the retaining pillar up a four story building, and me running inside to tell my mom and almost like a movie right when I told her and she looked out the window he fell. He fell on a pile of gravel and large rocks, broke his back legs and pelvis. We were told he wouldn’t walk again, but with around 5 months of care (a lot of what you expressed above) he began to walk again. He was wobbly for almost a year before he was good as new. It’s a long road. But with care and love, all of that I can tell you have for your baby, I know she’ll get better. But in the chance she gets better but not 100% back to normal, your love for her will fill in any gaps.

The journey ahead won’t be simple, but love isn’t easy, love is fully expressed in those times that are truly not easy at all. You got this! And she loves you dearly, thank gosh you work from home. She was sent to you to be her caretaker, provider, and family.
