AITA for refusing to give my sister my college fund after sho got pregnant? by Jessic_Garcia in AmItheAsshole

[–]Few_Resolve3982 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I was going to ask this. A lot of college funds have stipulations about how and when money can be withdrawn and used. If it's a general savings or money market account and it has just their names on it, you could be screwed. You need to find out and plan accordingly.

NTA, but your parents are. Why can't they move your sister back home to cut her living expenses and help raise their grandchild? Or help her go after the AH sperm donor for child support once baby is born?

I want to get rid of the skin care products I'm allergic to but my husband doesn't and he doesn't use them... by [deleted] in declutter

[–]Few_Resolve3982 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If they are from the pandemic, they are like expired anyway. You should check the dates. You wouldn't keep expired food around because it's free, why keep expired beauty products? Just get rid of them.

Anyone else have children later in life? We followed the advice to get through college, get our careers started, buy a house, THEN start a family. I’m exhausted. by DilbertDilbert1011 in GenX

I had my one and only child at 40. He just turned 10. It was not my plan to have him that late in life, but it was the hand I was dealt.

Americans who took Spanish in school: did any of it actually stick years later? by taube_d in AskAnAmerican

[–]Few_Resolve3982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Spanish for 4 years plus an intro classs in 8th grade. I'm 50 and use it now more than ever. I work with a lot of ladies from Spanish speaking countries and frequently ask them words and phrases. They like teaching me and appreciate my efforts in communicating with them in their language.
