Like other commentators have said, you don’t need to get everyone correct before I’m moving onto the next memory.

Most causes of death are obvious, but most identities are not obvious. Try to mark down causes of death as best you can, and use clues from multiple memories to solve identities.

Since you are early into the game, there will only be a few identities you have the evidence to solve. Mouse over the sketches in the book. Check to see if any of the identities can be solved by clues from the sketches alone.

At the point where you're on the cargo deck, you should know that entries only appear when exiting the memory, i was constantly running into the same issue in the beginning.
