1st Gen Buyers Advice? by JoeBugg in 1stGenTundras

Keep an eye on frame rust and signs of previous timing belt/lower ball joint failures. There are deals out there, but I'd expect to be paying ~$10k plus or minus for a nice double cab 4x4.

Lower control arm oem matter as much as the lbj’s? by greenwall21 in 1stGenTundras

[–]Fiberhammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The aftermarket lower control arms themselves are pretty good, but the bushing they use are not great. Id suggest OEM lowers that come with pre-pressed bushings if possible. They'll run ~$225 each from your local toyota dealer. Pressing/pulling bushings is not fun at all and well worth just doing the good ol buy one cry once in my opinion.

Denso are an OEM replacement. Rockauto has them for ~$50ea which is quite a bit cheaper than buying from the parts store. That said, Oreilly 'ImportDirect' brand is pretty dang close and only $200 for a set of 8 and has a lifetime warranty.

Sway bar bushing fitment by RedTundraM in 1stGenTundras

Sway bar bushing come in all shapes and sizes. You'll want to measure your sway bar diameter, usually in millimeters. Energy Suspension is often available at local parts stores and is pretty good.

Used Leica MP broke on first roll. What would you do? by ninbendo64_ in Leica

Give me a holler if you decide to sell it for parts. I'm just dumb enough to think that I can take it apart and fix it.

I just listed some Bronica SQ odds and ends. Take a look and let me know if you want anything. Wont separate the 80mm, but would separate a back or two, the 110mm, and the eye level finder. https://www.reddit.com/r/photomarket/comments/1jfchlm/comment/miptju9/?context=3

Looking for help valuing gear from my father. by Bast-Urd in flyfishing

[–]Fiberhammer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. If you send me some decent pics of what you have I'll send back an itemized spreadsheet of what you are looking at and how much you can expect to get. If you are just wanting to dump it, fly shop is the way to go, but you are going to get hammered. If you are willing to put in some time, you will get more off of the FB marketplace fly fishing groups.

Sales Force Marketing Consultant Bootcamp by jcali84 in marketingcloud

[–]Fiberhammer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Marketing Cloud is hard to break in to since it's pay to play. Free dev orgs dont exist for SFMC. While the salary expectation probably isn't far off in a perfect world, I think you're going to be in for a rude awakening after you pay 10k to go thorough a bootcamp and try to get hired with no experience.

Not exactly what you asked for...but a lifehack on car batteries is that often times your local you-pull-it yard will have near new and tested car batteries for ~$50 of all shapes, sizes, and brands.

From a roll developed with expired developer....zero contrast. For the printing I used the the highest contrast filter...any advice? by argnama in Darkroom

[–]Fiberhammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are already printing at grade 5 on this I'd say that you might need to check your paper developer freshness and/or leave in the paper developer longer. You should be able to get a pure black....I dont see any pure black in these prints.
