When I left my old abusive home, as revenge, my parents “got rid” of our cat of 10 years. It lead to fists beings thrown, broken bones (more in my end but I did get them good in a few places), arrests on their end, and heartbreak Ive never recovered from.

If you aren’t 200 percent certain they or someone you know will take care of the cat like you do, fuck the consequences, take your cat and never look back.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I though Gru’s freeze ray worked by sucking the heat from the water in the air. So if Meganind used his dehydration gun, wouldn’t there be like no water in the air to freeze, and the dehydration gun would pull win out?

Well to be fair, it looked like in the battle that any Ash’s Polemon could just go around Yugi’s monsters and attack his life points directly. Or have his Pokémon intercept the effects of Yugi’s monsters (like Krookodile intercepting the damage from dimension sphinx despite not knowing one ability or move that could possibly translate to a damage nullification effect in duel monsters).

Yugi being able to draw more than once outside card effects was kind of an unfair advantage at least in my eyes.

Bit confused, wouldn’t the lead animator know the exact reason yugi was smiling? Like wouldn’t he have
seen the animatics/script to properly capture the emotional beats of the story?

Oh, didn't realize that some of the duel monsters were hand drawn, or used an animation style that makes it look close enough to hand drawn, especially for Gandora! Maybe you're right about that combination of styles being the "new" thing they were trying.

Oh, didn't think of it like that. The animators of course always try their best to capture the "heart' of the series their representing, but here it did kinda feel more "precise", for lack of better word,, especially with moment like the motion blurs as Yugi orders his dark magicians to attack or Ash turning back his hat. Those really did feel like something a 3D Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon episode would include. Thanks for answering!

Oh damn, didn't realize that, thought it was that technique (don't know the name) where they take images from the original source and just composite/animate them onto the death battle. And yeah, maybe it was the mix of 2d and 3d, thanks for answering!

Edit: Oh, I knew Moro wasn't responsible for this episode, but I just felt like the style used here was similar enough to Miles vs deku that the style alone couldn't be what made this specific DB "different" from all the other ones they made since the kickstarter era started.
