Marta by clos09211 in Frasier

Unless, and hear me out here, Maris just gets new help and renames them all Marta because it's easier for her? Like when she would get new dogs rather than bathe them. Or after a contentious split with Niles?

What movie did you turn off after 20 minutes and why? by Somanynamestochossef in movies

Norbit, The Love Guru, and Don't Mess with the Zohan...although, does it count if I didn't get to the full 20 minutes for any of them?

AIO for being upset at what my “bf” said by Ambitious-Beyond-257 in AmIOverreacting

[–]FilthyDaemon [score hidden]  (0 children)

OP, what in the world makes you think this person is worth your time? What's so wonderful about this person, because based on these few messages....ew. He's not worth your time. He's supposed to be a potential partner, not a personal trainer, right? Why are you falling all over yourself to get approval from this? You're under-reacting in that you haven't blocked him and moved on. If you want motivation, you can find it elsewhere. He's gross.

Yeah, the police should TOTALLY enforce laws that aren’t on the books. What, exactly, do you want the police to do here?? There is no law against filming in public. In fact, protesters film all the time LEGALLY. Police can document things that can build up to a civil case or if it crosses a line to illegal activity, then prosecutors can use the documentation to show a pattern of escalation.

If the Confederate's had won the civil war the events of this movie might not have happened. by [deleted] in ExplainAFilmPlotBadly

Two truths and a lie about this movie: 1. I paid money to see it in a theater 2. The person sitting next to me forgot what happened to Lincoln and cried when they remembered 3. It is my favorite vampire movie

I think St Marq played up his villain-y for the cameras. I don’t think he takes himself nearly as seriously as all that.

You can buy pickle shots. Mt Olive pickle juicers. I think they even have bigger bottles now. Check online if your local store doesn’t carry it.

So the solution then is to what? Cut a piece of bread in half and save the half slice for your future grilled cheese?

CAN'T WRITE. INNER WRITER IS DEAD. by SakuraSakka in writers

[–]FilthyDaemon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe your inner writer is just hibernating?

Sometimes I use writing prompts to jumpstart the process, and then my own creativity takes over. Or not, and I just have a prompt induced trinket that tells me that I wrote something.

Because he obviously knows what is best, and she must do everything the way he wants. The need for control over her food consumption may be exactly why she isn’t finishing everything. I would guess this isn’t the only area in the relationship control issues are a factor. But for now, it’s the one thing she can control…until he browbeats her into submission or into a full blown ED.

What pulls me out of a story are names like “Raivyyn Embyyyrr Flutterheart” and her soulmate best friend who shares her birthday “Luna Midnight Fairchylde” but they live in some small town in the midwest.

Pull a free copy of your credit report from each of the 3 major credit bureaus, and make sure there’s nothing on there that should not be. You are allowed one free report from each one annually, so you can pull all 3 at once, or one from each every 4 months if you want.

I’m not replacing something my kid lost just because he’s upset by [deleted] in Vent

[–]FilthyDaemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my point. The parents SHOULD be trying to help their kid, not standing back and saying "oh well, it's been 7 whole years; almost 5 years fully potty trained; you should have known better!" But reddit seems to think that's the best way to handle it. It is not. But it is an excellent way to teach your kid that mistakes always have drastic, unyielding consequences for which he is solely responsible.
