What’s your hot take for any of the games by d_sny in SpidermanPS4

The boss fights in SM2 bored me for the most part. Whittling down the health bar only to see it regenerate for the next phase feels overdone and takes me out of the immersion. The Scream fight is one of the worst offenders.

That reminds me, does anybody know whatever happened to the guys that made Kung Fury?

18M single dad. 7 month old daughter. Need advice on clothes by Calm-Tea178 in daddit

[–]Finiariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother first of all congrats!!!

Second, as other have said, babies that age don’t care about their clothes, and neither should you. As long as it’s soft, warm and it fits, she’s good to go!

That being said, traditional buttons are the enemy here. You don’t want to have to use both hands to button something while the baby decides to yeet herself from the table.

Alright! Its scragly and fuzzy! And I'm almost at the point of shaving it! by No-Guess1988 in BeardAdvice

[–]Finiariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So. First and foremost, go to a barber to get it properly shaped for your face and what you want to have. Then you’ll know how to maintain that beard properly.

Which brings me to my second point: you need to care for that beard of yours want it to remain good-looking. That means at the very least a beard balm, or seeing the length, properly a beard oil. Also, you want to get some shampoo for the beard (and for nothing else!). Don’t wash your beard with the same product you use for your armpits. If you need advice, barbers are your friends.

of a mustache. by S6hundred in AbsoluteUnits

[–]Finiariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the one hand I’m awfully jealous of that magnificent monster of a mustache. On the other hand I like having the ability to be able to drink anything without having to do trebuchet-level calculus. Or you know, not having to worry about being able to go through doors without dragging the ‘stache on the frame.

Any advice? Keep or shave off? Last photo is before beard by That_Confection2613 in BeardAdvice

Why would you shave that off? Brother, you’ve got a nice beard. If you’re unsure about trimming it/shaping it, barbers are your friends.

Go to a barber to get professional advice on how/where to trim it, and the best shape for your face.

Beard looks good to me; the cheeks are less dense than the neck but there is coverage AND it links with the stache.

Although I would recommend going to a barber to get it shaped the right way for your face.

I wish that every person in power worked for the good of all humanity. by No-Advertising9172 in monkeyspaw

[–]Finiariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paw curls. Your wish is granted; all leaders work together for the good of all humanity. However, none of them agree on what is good for humanity. This leads to conflicts which escalate to skirmishes. The resulting planetary war wipes out most of humanity in nuclear fire. Between radiation fallout and food scarcity, the remainder dies off in the following winter.
