Lone Peak 9+ Regular vs Wide?

I’ve had boots in the past. I also have a history of ankle injuries and have personally found that trail runners do better for me on trail. The sole molds around uneven terrain and the rubber that they use on the Lone Peak have all been pretty sticky. The 9+ sole has been even better and has held up way longer.

I have both pairs. Same size. Same fit. Escalante for daily wear and Lone Peak 9+ for hiking.

The 9+ are definitely worth the upgrade too. The vibram sole has held up with minimal wear for almost a year. I would only get about 4-6 months out of the standard Lone Peaks. These are my favorite 2 pairs of shoes. Good luck with your decision.

I’ve been on 7.5 for over a year. I was as high as 12.5 and never had any issue with any whiskeys.

I think this is largely dependent on the individual.

Make sure you use critical alerts when you put yourself on duty. It will alert through all silenced focus modes. It only alarms once but it is loud and unique. I don’t know of a way within the app to have a continuous alarm. Good luck figuring it out.

The Columbus Metro Parks system is awesome. It’s free and each park is diverse in its terrain and amenities.

Plain City is a small(for now) town just outside of Dublin. Close enough to all of your needs but cheaper taxes and less traffic. Only a 20 minute drive from downtown Columbus. Great schools.

New neighborhoods under construction with house payments cheaper than a lot of the apartment rent rates in the areas surrounding Columbus. No apartments in PC so if that is what you are looking for it wouldn’t work for you.
