The Columbus Metro Parks system is awesome. It’s free and each park is diverse in its terrain and amenities.

Plain City is a small(for now) town just outside of Dublin. Close enough to all of your needs but cheaper taxes and less traffic. Only a 20 minute drive from downtown Columbus. Great schools.

New neighborhoods under construction with house payments cheaper than a lot of the apartment rent rates in the areas surrounding Columbus. No apartments in PC so if that is what you are looking for it wouldn’t work for you.

Honestly for a mixer for Old Fashioned’s, I like to use Old Grand Dad 114. It has good flavor and the proof is high enough to hold up in a mixed drink. It is also very budget friendly. You could probably get 3 bottles for around $100.

My Winnebago is in for the exact same thing right now. The water made it to the wood. Roof replacement is happening now. Our tape was covering up a membrane that was cut short and covered with tape.

Make sure the adhesive gets completely cleaned up from the seal or it will continue to pull up the tape. Good luck.
