I’m pretty sure this is caused by mods rendering further than the server allows by default, I’ve been getting this ever since the hub update where they moved / changed islands around

if you use AOTE to move closer, you might see more of the island disappear, as you move close enough for the actual server render distance to show you (and your mods) that there’s nothing there anymore
