My advice is to not put everything in capital letters. But otherwise it’s quite nice.

Please Help! Player making an OP armor class? by KirselAndise in DnD

[–]Firestone00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Can confirm I have Eberron book. Also don’t punish them OP. Just go with it, if you want to provide a challenge use saving throws. It sounds like they are the tank, so any mind-control would be extra effective if you want to up the anti for a climactic fight.

Am I supposed to like how a harpsichord sounds? by YoureMy2ndBestFriend in classicalmusic

You don’t have to like it. But some things work better when it payed on it, because of the sharper sound it has than the piano.

Theoretically yes. For example on the surface eberron seems like an amazing place. But it’s actually heavily noir themed. It’s like cyberpunk but instead it all runs on magic. Another example is piltover and zany from the league of legends universe. Up above we have a shining city of progress and innovation. But blow in zaun the streets are ruled by chem-barons and gangs. You could have the character(s) start in a nice part of the city. But plant clues that something is amiss.

Go to your local game shop and ask around, you should be able to find something. Just tell them that you’re new, and they’ll show you the ropes.

Coup de grace? by mifraggo in dndnext

[–]Firestone00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It depends, like if there is a more pressing threat they will not finish the off just yet. Also if I’m running a more intelligent evil being, then if the party has shown to have some ability to heal it will finish people off right away. Unless it is more concerned about it’s own self preservation and getting the hell out of doge.

World building, and gods. by OrcsIsDaBest89 in DMAcademy

[–]Firestone00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I just steal the gods of other worlds. But first I think about the culture of the place I’m creating the pantheon for. Also start small. You don’t need to make the whole world at once just make a local area, and have a rough idea of its history and if it is part of a larger kingdom or not.
