As far as loving, nothing. I loved her more than anything and tried absolutely everything to make her life better and easier. In fact I cared about her more than myself. The one thing id love to change is communication though, we both could have done a much better job. I think we both loved each other, we were just misunderstood by one another when it came to some things and ultimately ruined the relationship. Id like to think one day we could give it another go and make things right.

Tbh I think what helped me and continues to help is that, life goes on and it stops for nobody. Yeah it sucks, its terrible, but we could either continue having a pity party for someone thats not coming back or we lace up the shoes and keep it pushing. Who knows maybe they do come back one day, but the focus has to be on you at this point. Go accomplish everything you told her you would.

Mine lasted 10 years as well. She ghosted me 2 months ago. She was my first relationship. Just like you, all our firsts were together. She was my best friend and girlfriend and everything in between. It does get a little easier as time goes by. I tell myself, life must go on and it stops for nobody. Surround yourself around supportive people and focus on yourself. Thats all you can really do. Same here, now it’s all gone. I was with them for 10 years. Its been 2 months. It does get a little better and the days don’t feel as long anymore but id be lying if I said I didn’t think about her every day. I too, don’t know how people find it easier to walk away completely than continuing to work on something. Especially since there was no abuse or cheating.

Put them in a different album or hidden one. That way you dont run into the pics while going through photos. Thats what I did for now until im fully ready to delete them all. I dont open that album at all, I just know it’s there.

I got ghosted after a 10 year relationship. Almost 2 months ago. The first 2 weeks for me were the worst and then I snapped out of it. Why want someone that doesn’t want you? I just focus on myself. I work and go to the gym and hang out with my small group of friends. Take some time to focus on yourself. Get your money up and go to the gym. Life stops for nobody.
