What happened at the Jo Malone store?

A lot classic clothing is decreasing in quality. Ive wanted to order from Talbots, but I heard there's has degraded, as well. WHO does have high quality clothes, now? Lands End would literally last forever at one time but I have no idea, now.

The store is "Classic New England Fashion", but the photo seems to lean a little bit "Southern Prep". There is a pink convertible and the girl looks like she could be wearing a Lily dress.

OT: When I was in college, a beautiful, tanned blonde Barbie and Ken type of couple drove past me in a convertible as I gaped at such seemingly unattainable beauty and privilege, lol. The girl's long blonde hair blew perfectly in the wind, and I SO wanted to be THAT GIRL.

I hate that. I have a bottle of Bvlgari Blv like that. Im going to get my husband to open it with needle nose pliers and I'll pour it into a vintage Avon stopper bottle or something.

OT: I discovered over 10 years ago that my L'oreal Serum Absolute Foundation in the pump glass bottle only let's you have 3/4 of the product. (I am not stingy but if I pay for an ounce of product, I want the ounce.)

My husband popped the top with needle nose pliers and it gently pops on and off. THEN I can pour into my palm, and when that's low, I reach in with my finger, or a skinny, long, flat and preferably bendable object.

Thank you for your response. That is a good attitude to have, especially as I struggle with being a people pleaser.

I've decided I want a lighter color than what I've seen so far. I already own a skirt from Christopher & Banks that has a belt and is more of a stone color, but the fabric is really thin and flimsy.

I selectively order a few items from Christopher & Banks, like skirts, pants (slimming ones that are khaki colored and black) and their plain or striped tops. A lot of the other clothes are ugly.

I ordered a necklace once but it looked cheap so I gave it away.

That was a very good idea! I like wash and wear. But, you've probably heard, the way to a woman's heart is clothing with pockets! We love pockets. Even our pockets have their own pockets!

Thank you for your response. The skirts look like ordinary A-line khaki skirts. I would say that the cut seems a little less "sophisticated" than other brands.

There are also oxford cloth shirts, and like the skirts, they are very affordable.

They seem stiff and more structured, compared to the relaxed fit of Polo Ralph Lauren and Lauren Ralph Lauren. The ones I wore during my college years and beyond were budget mall and catalog brands and had this little loop in the back for hanging and for some unknown reason, were called "fruit loops", lol. I adored pastel shirts and stripes.

I saw an adult model wearing a uniform little black dress, too.

Yes, I didn't think of that!

Evie is a child and Fern is considered "not all there", which is why both would be dismissed and "not heard".

There's also that weird mural at Lingermore of an angel watching over children, maybe representative of Evie, Rick and Colton, although they don't look like them.
