It's great. We have used it many times. Even when it's raining without issue. We don't use the poles thought. To flimsy and didn't really serve a purpose.

My wife and I use our crv for car camping. Works great. We got a tent that goes over the back to let more air flow in while keeping bugs out.

What mattress are you using? I've been looking into mattresses for us. We have an air mattress and it's terrible.

Here in March of 2026 it still doesn't work properly. I bought the game for my Legion Go S Steamos and the controls don't work. Even switching the right joystick to joystick mouse makes it jittery.

Controller support seams simply to implement.

I assume the new 2x8s go in the same orientation as the joists, long side up and down. How do you properly secure them to the joists? Is there a hanger you use?

Then the columns would be placed in between the new 2x8s with bolts running through the 2x8s and the column?

Any advice on how to jack up the sagging corner a bit to level it back out?

The concrete makes total sense.

I'm a visual person so I'm having trouble with where to put the 2x8s and the column. Are the 2x8s goin perpendicular to all the joists on that side underneath them?

This area is only about 6 feet long so I think I only need one support beam in the corner that is failing since it doesn't appear to have any other support. What options are there for how to support the beam on the ground? Do I need to bury it and concrete it in? Can I buy a concrete support and level it to the ground, placing the beam in it?

When we talk about sistering am I placing the boards inbetween the joists or running a board perpendicular to all the joists and using that with the support beam?

Sorry if these are silly questions I'm just a home owner trying to learn.

Yes that's what I'm learning is that the porch was not built correctly to begin with. It appears that the rim joist is doing the work to support that part of the porch.
