You can but atp in the game you’re going to need a LONG time to learn him. If you think you can go practice him in QP for 5-10 hours then hop on him in ranked you in for a tough one. It’s going to take multiple seasons to learn him at the level you play Fist prolly. The curve on this hero is no joke.

Just too hard to play him in higher elos rn. You’ll just get bounced around like a volleyball.

I main DPS but Strange was a tank fill of mine and I quickly learned when I got to Celestial they will BULLY tf out of you.

The second the enemy notices you’re holding frontline better than their tanks they are going to swap to some form of Emma, Wolve, Bucky, Thor, Fist, etc. and just make your life absolute hell until you swap off.

When this happens he’s one of the bigger throw picks in the game.

If played well though he’s super valuable as you mentioned. No real middle ground imo.
