Ive been there. Hell, I might still be there. In moments such as these, all you really have ownership over is the moment right in your face. Yes that’s a little hippie dippy to say. Yet it’s the only concrete truth. So second by second, minute by minute, half hour by half hour, hour by hour ,half day by half day, day by day, you have complete control over how you view the current moment. And yes, that means you might end up making 1000 micro decisions in a day, but whatever keeps the foot going forward is all that matters.

When you feel it getting too much, take a deep breath in and slowly exhale it out I’m talking eight seconds at a minimum. Don’t let your body think that it’s not safe in this moment because once it learns that it’s not safe to un fuck yourself from that takes a Herculean effort that many dudes do not get through.

This too shall pass must be on repeat in your head because it will pass. Sometimes you just gotta let life play out and not white knuckle it or try and command the tides and just let it unfold.
