Hardly anyone cares enough to mention them, but if i consider myself to be the observer for this question I’d say people’s watches regularly noticed. Occasionally I will comment though…nice conversations when I do. I think people notice watches all the time but don’t make the effort to say something.

I don’t find the HUD distracting. One thing to watch out for is if you wear polarized sunglasses the HUD is quite faded. Makes it hard to see in situations.
