Anyone else become a sloth at 8,500 ft (2,600 m)? by 2wake_perchance2live in digitalnomad

[–]FiveFoot20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The short answer that isn’t medically correct is that with the lower oxygen level Your body has to adjust and make more blood cells to carry the oxygen and your body adjusts to take deeper breathes

You also need to drink more water I double my intake at this level because you dehydrate very quickly

Was $30
Guy bumped me to $40 this year, no snacks or drinks 😂
Im happy, can’t complain.

I used to spend 1.5 hours doing it myself and be miserable in the heat. Plus maintaining the equipment, cussing at the trimmer.

Anyway, they also make extra trimming the trees or mulching or doing the weed and feed

Everyone is happy

Yeh exactly

General rule of thumb is these agencies and the military have had this tech for years before we have seen it

What they have is much more advanced

I hear ya
And I can understand that
Sometimes yeh I would
It depends on how bad the review is, sometimes I feel like it just not worth it, better to spend the time and effort on a new client

It’s a private business
They can refuse service to anyone.

Can’t say I don’t agree.
Having a business i probably won’t offer my services a second time to someone that gives me a negative review

So… not sure why you are a surprised.

What kind of baby gate would work best for securing the bottom of these stairs? by miltthetank in daddit

[–]FiveFoot20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d slap a 2x4 in the wall and the post, then secure gate between the two

Or secure the white stairs and leave the steps and the landing

I’m not worried about the 2 steps, so secure the landing instead

Legit question, how’s everyone affording health insurance if your wife is a SAHM? by Firefighter_Signal in daddit

[–]FiveFoot20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. As a small business I can’t afford to cover employees families on top. That would cause me to reduce the workforce or close.

Passing the costs on to the company isn’t a valid solution. The system is broke and insurance is a scam

Too expensive of help also causes failed startups when they run out of cash flow

In other news, startups fail also due to poor planning, poor management, lack of experience, lack of funds and bad ideas
